For this item it is recommended to use a spray-on water proofer on the outside only.
In general, if you’re unsure, a spray-on applied only to the outside is the safest option, as it targets the outer face fabric where the DWR is needed most.
Tips for Best Results
- Clean off dirt and oils before applying DWR — they block the repellent from working well.
- Tumble-dry on low after spraying it on to help activate the treatment.
- Repeat as needed when water stops beading on the surface.
