Laxaþjóð | A Salmon Nation

Our relationship with nature not only defines our history, it shapes our future, too. Yet beneath the surface of Iceland’s fjords, an industrial fish farming method threatens to destroy one of Europe’s last remaining wildernesses. Laxaþjóð | A Salmon Nation tells the story of a country united by its lands and waters, and the power of a community to protect the wild places and animals that helped forge its identity.

Protecting your gear and our planet.

The best packaging is no packaging. That’s why we’re committed to reducing our impact and simplifying our shipping materials. By removing what’s unnecessary; collecting materials that can’t be recycled in your area; and switching polybags for cardboard where we can, we’re making better choices–we’re choosing a better future. We’re not perfect and neither are polybags. But until we can find an alternative that assures your product arrives in perfect condition, it's our only way of protecting your gear during shipping. The plastic wrapping we use to make sure your gear is delivered in pristine condition is made from 100% recycled waste–this means no new plastic was used to ship your gear. You can recycle polybags at locations that accept plastic bags.

How can I recycle my Patagonia item?

Every product we make will, one day, be beyond repair. If your gear has reached the end of its life, it can be repurposed or recycled.

Send your gear to be recycled by visiting one of our stores or contacting our Customer Service team for a free shipping label–adding a note for our team letting them know your cleaned, unusable gear is to be recycled.

Everything we make has an impact on our planet–we request only unrepairable, unusable, end-of-life products be recycled. Not sure if your gear is beyond repair? Visit our Repairs Portal before recycling your gear!

For customers located in France, please check your national guidelines on textile sorting and recycling.
