You're right. Our wetsuits are made without neoprene and instead use Yulex, a natural rubber material. The blend we use is hypoallergenic and removes the proteins in latex that typically cause allergic reactions.
That said, everyone’s sensitivities are different, and reactions can sometimes be caused by glues, adhesives, or seam materials, not just the rubber itself. That said, we unfortunately can’t guarantee there won’t be a reaction. If possible, we recommend trying the suit on at one of our stores or authorized dealers to see how it feels.
To answer your second question: our wetsuits are specifically designed for surfing, so they may not offer the flexibility or buoyancy typically preferred in triathlon swimming.
We’ve received positive feedback from customers with neoprene allergies, but sensitivities can vary widely from person to person.
