Patagonia® Omnichannel Gift Card Terms and Conditions
Gift Cards are issued by Patagonia Europe Cooperatief U.A. (“Patagonia Europe” / “Patagonia®”), located at Jollemanhof 11, 1019 GW Amsterdam, The Netherlands. These terms and conditions (these "Terms") set out the terms on which physical gift cards and electronic gift cards (together, the "Gift Cards") may be ordered from us and used. These Terms will be binding on you when you submit an order for a Gift Card(s).

General
Patagonia® Gift Cards are valid for 5 years from the date of issue or activation.
Gift Cards are available in EUR (Euro); GBP (British Pound Sterling); CZK (Czech Koruna) and SEK (Swedish Krona). Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or store credits. They are non-refundable and cannot be returned.
In these Terms, when we refer to the "Recipient" we mean the recipient of the Gift Card, or bearer of it if that is not you. When we refer to "you" or "your" we mean you, the person purchasing the Gift Card.
Purchasing Gift Cards
Gift Cards can be purchased online here and in Patagonia® owned stores listed below in predefined or custom amounts, loaded with a value between 10.00 and 1.000 (between ten and one thousand) EUR, or corresponding value in GBP, CZK or SEK.

Discount codes cannot be applied to the purchase of Gift Cards and Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.

When you place an order for a Gift Card online or in store, it constitutes an offer to us. All orders are conditional upon acceptance by us. When you place your order, we will take payment for the Gift Card(s) ordered and process it. Once we have done this, we will send you an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order (the "Acceptance E-mail"). The contract of sale for the Gift Card(s) (the "Contract") is only concluded when we send you an email confirming our acceptance of your order. Each Contract shall incorporate these Terms and, if accepted by us, each order shall be a new and separate Contract between you and us.
We are under no obligation to accept any order placed with us for the purchase of a Gift Card(s). For example, we cannot accept an order if we are unable to obtain authorisation of your payment; if shipping restrictions apply; if Gift Card(s) shown on the Website contain a (manifest) error such as being incorrectly priced or otherwise incorrectly described or shown; or if we are otherwise unable to process your order due to technical reasons.
Delivery
Once a Contract is formed, we make Gift Cards available either directly at the point of purchase in store, or by e-mailing the Recipient (using the e-mail address and details provided during the order process) with a link that includes the unique codes to use that Gift Card.
We are not responsible for non-delivery of any Gift Card as a consequence of our email being blocked by your or the Recipient's firewall or being treated as spam, your or the Recipient's email inbox being full or other similar technological reasons beyond our control.
Using Your Gift Card
Gift Cards may be used in whole or in part. Any unused balance remains on the Gift Card until expiry.
If a purchase exceeds the Gift Card balance, the difference must be paid using another accepted method. Multiple Gift Cards may be used in a single purchase.
Gift Cards may be used during sales or promotions if purchase conditions are met.
Each Gift Card is redeemable and/or able to be credited only at participating Patagonia stores listed above or online here and only in the same currency with which it was purchased (EUR, GBP, CZK or SEK).
To use a Gift Card in store, present the Gift Card (physical or electronic) to any of our cashiers at the time of purchase. To use a Gift Card on the Website, enter the unique code and the four digit PIN code in the checkout section of our Website.
No Gift Card can be exchanged or redeemed for cash and Patagonia® reserves the right to refuse to accept any Gift Card that we believe has been stolen or is being used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.
The Recipient may only use a Gift Card for their personal, non-commercial use. We reserve the right to cancel any Gift Card that we suspect has been obtained in connection with an unauthorised sales or promotional activity.
Physical Gift Cards are automatically activated at dispatch and electronic Gift Cards are activated when they are e-mailed to the Recipient.
No Gift Card is a cheque guarantee, credit, debit or charge card and no Gift Card can be exchanged for cash or be used towards the purchase of another Gift Card.
If the Recipient returns goods that they have purchased online using a Gift Card, we'll credit monies owing to that Gift Card. Please note that the original expiration date of that Gift Card will continue to apply.
Payments and Refund Process
Split payments are permitted, except online with PayPal or Apple Pay. In-store split payments are possible with accepted methods.
Refunds for purchases made with a Gift Card are issued as a new Gift Card. Refunds to cash, bank transfer, or other payment methods are not available.
If a purchase was made with a Gift Card and another payment method, the refund will first be applied to the alternate payment method. Any remaining balance will be refunded as a Gift Card.
Gift Cards will be treated as cash if lost. Patagonia Europe is not liable in case of lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards. Gift Cards can be cancelled and replaced, but to do so we need to have the original proof of purchase.
Gift Card emails may be re-sent with proof of purchase; and Gift Cards may be replaced in-store if original proof of purchase and card details are provided within a reasonable amount of time
Managing Your Gift Card
When purchased online, Gift Cards are delivered via email. Physical versions of the Gift Card are provided at the point of purchase in-store.
The Gift Card is transferable and can be redeemed by whomever is the bearer.
Balances can be checked on this page under "check my balance" or in-store at tills.
Gift Cards cannot be reloaded; new cards must be purchased for additional funds.
Although Gift Cards can be transferred and/or given to other people you may not provide us with (personal) data or information from or about the recipient of e-gift cards without their prior consent. You bear full responsibility for making others' (personal) data or information available to us.
Cancellation and Withdrawal of Online Purchases
You have the right to withdraw from the Contract during the 14-day Withdrawal Period without giving any reason provided that the Gift Card(s) has not been used.
The Withdrawal Period shall be 14 days from the date you, or a third party named by you, have/has taken possession of the Gift Cards, or, where your order contained multiple Gift Cards which will be delivered separately, delivery of the final Gift Card(s) making up your order (“Withdrawal Period”).
Exceptions:
The right of withdrawal does not apply once the digital gift card code has been delivered by email, provided that at the time of purchase you gave your express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon delivery.
If the gift card has already been used, in whole or in part, the right of withdrawal no longer applies. Gift cards purchased in-store are not distance contracts and therefore do not fall under the statutory right of withdrawal.
If you withdraw from the Contract during the Withdrawal Period, we shall cancel the Gift Card(s) and reimburse all payments we received from you at the latest within 14 days from the date on which the notification of withdrawal of the Contract has been received by us. For this repayment we shall use the same method of payment and currency that you used making the original transaction, unless we arrange a different method with you; you will not be charged any fees for such repayments under any circumstances.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or restrict our liability.
We only supply Gift Cards for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the Gift Cards for any commercial or business purposes and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
Our maximum liability to you under these Terms in respect of any particular Contract will be limited to the value of the Gift Cards purchased under that Contract.
Legal
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Dutch law applies to the sales contract, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). This does not affect the applicable mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence.
We reserve the right to close the Gift Card programme on reasonable notice at any time.
You may bring any dispute which may arise under these Terms to – at your discretion - either the competent court of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, or to the competent court of your country of habitual residence if this country of habitual residence is an EU Member State.

These Terms and Conditions apply as of October 2025 and supersede all previous versions. For previous versions, please contact Patagonia Europe's customer service here.
We may make changes to these Terms from time to time (if, for example, there is a change in the law that means we need to change these Terms) but the Terms applicable at the time of your Order will apply to that Order. Please check these Terms regularly to ensure that you understand the Terms that apply at the time that you order Gift Cards.
