great weight

warmth without the weight .. great jacket for most seasons!

March 30, 2022

This coat is extremely lightweight, warm, comfortable, and rain resistant. Perfect for long walks in the still crisp Connecticut weather

Wind blocker warm

Very light, blocks wind and rain

Great fit, weight and insulation

Third such item in my wardrobe. Love the quality and price points. Loyal patron I remain. Have a great selection of nano vests as well, and one in heavier weight and content. All are great pieces for works, and casual evening and weekend wear.

A staple, breathable and warm

Back in the day, I was part of a research team testing base layer prototypes. Subjected to rigorous testing protocols, capilene from patagonia out performed the others, was added as a year round staple to our clothing ensembles. Good and warm

This jacket is good and warm yet surprisingly light weight - perfect for Colorado weather when the warm winter sun goes down.

February 27, 2022

Great jacket but runs large.

I just returned this today as it was too big. I'm 6'2" 200 lbs and XL historically is required to cover my torso and arm length. I tried to exchange but this jacket/color is not available, so I'll have to wait until it is. I plan to order a large when available.

February 26, 2022

Very comfortable fit

This jacket is not bulky at all but is super warm. My first Patagonia jacket but it wont be my last!

February 24, 2022

Super light weight and warm

I was surprised at how light this jacket was in addition to being warmer than other jackets I have that are twice the weight! One interesting thing about this jacket is that if you stuff it into it's pocket: makes a great travel pillow!

February 24, 2022

warm mid layer

I purchased this Micro Puff as a better option than heavy fleece sweaters as a "1st" layer for skiing and very cold weather activities. I wanted a tight fitting super light first layer to hold in body heat that still allowed for good arm movement and this jacket works perfect in that regard. Where I normally buy a large size, I went mediu... Read Morem with this for the tight heat holding fit. With a Patagonia down sweater jacket for the next layer and a good outer shell outer layer I am super warm with free movement and not having the bulk of heavy coats. Not the quality I expected

I expected a warm jacket but this jacket is paper thin. Not the quality I expected from Patagonia. Will be returning.

The Perfect light weight jacket

The perfect light weight packable jacket. Fits great, warm and stylish.

February 19, 2022

Light, warm, and functional

This is much lighter and warmer than my Nano Puff. No zippered inner pockets. Perfect for backpacking, camping, and casual wear.

Great jacket

Very warm and extremely light. 57 and 165lbs and medium fit perfect.

Micro Puff Review

Fits great. Packs easily. Lightweight and warm. The interior pockets are great for keeping gloves and beanie. My only concern is the thin outer material, and how well it will stand up to normal use.

February 10, 2022

perfect jacket

I love this garment. Light and warm, windproof and water repellant. Only problem is the fabric is a little thin, so it did get shredded a bit walking through brambles. And the deep inside pockets are great for big winter mittens.

Good jacket, they aren't lying about the neck.

The jacket keeps me extremely warm, I use it to walk the dog and go on hikes/backpacking trips and it works well. Excellent Product

Warm, light, compactable. Great hood. I would buy again. Improvements to consider, reduce length to that of a nano puff and add draw cord at bottom so it may be used as a insulator layer under another product that is not shorter.

You know how you have a closet full of jackets but you end up wearing just one of them about 90% of the time? This is that one jacket. Best jacket ever

I usually wear north face jackets but I gave Patagonia a try and was definitely the best decision I ever made. I use this jacket literally everyday. I bought the size large and Im 59 around 190 lbs. All I can say is buy it its definitely worth the money you wont be disappointed

Very warm and terrific color!

This is a terrific jacket, on its own or as a mid layer. The fit, though regular, is not as loose as other regular fits, but is a comfortable fit.

Lightweight comfort

Filling came out and broken zipper

This jacket looks great and has a more athletic fit which I find more functional. Kind of big but really light and warm. I got this on sale so I am happy with it but not sure if I would pay full retail!

Versatile jacket

I bought this for my husband for our frequent trips to San Francisco. It works in all kinds of weather there and is so easy to pack. And he looks great in it too. A win on all counts.

Such a weird fit

It seems like this jacket came in two sizes. The bottom half, mostly around the waist, fit like a small jacket should - it was close to the body and comfortable. Perfect warmth for most of my activities

Light weight, packable, but sufficiently warm. Wear this jacket almost exclusively when I need a jacket unless my silent down jacket is required.

Its pretty comfortable, and light weight, but it has a weird fit, kinda bunches at the shoulders and neck, otherwise I like it, but I would probably go for a different model in the future

Disappointing fit and color was funky

It looks boxy on, is a thinner coat without much shape to it. Was very disappointed in the color . Looks bright orange on line but when you get it , it isn't orange and it is not red. I will pass.

Maybe if I spent some time on "The Rack"

I chose this jacket as a cold day midlayer for skiing on the advice of the retail crew. Not so noticeable in the store while standing and tugging around for fit. The retail tag says "Medium". Great fit, light and warm

I bought this jacket in the Boxing Day sales. It arrived mid January and is a great fit, light and warm. Would have been nice to have an inside pocket with a zip instead of the open pouch’s inside. Love the blue colour. !

Great Jacket

I have always been a fan of the Nano Puff equipment. This is a step up in warmth and also fits better and feels warmer than my down sweater. Great outer layer in dry conditions and insulator in wetter or on a cold day on the ski hill. Medium fits great for me at 5'10", 160lbs., lean, not big.

Packable warmth!

Havent experienced the warmth while wet benefits of the Micro Puff. But warmth while dry is outstanding.

So light and so warm

I cant believe how light this thing is. It is very warm and packs down really small. Itll be a crucial piece of my cold weather gear for a while. So incredibly light

I really didn't appreciate the weight of this jacket until I began using it. It warms up faster than the down sweater and is surprisingly comparable in warmth. If you do need some durability, I would recommend using an outer shell. Overall a step up from the nano puff!

Earn Some Character - Micro vs Nano

I've had a Nano Puff Jacket for 8 years, love it, has served me well fly fishing, hiking, skiing and kicking around.
