The design of this hat is beautiful. I love the colors and the vintage logo. The problem is two-fold. I love the design so much that if either of these were different, I could bare the other...that's how much I love the design.
1) The sizing. Patagonia needs hats for bigger heads and they need to be clearly annoted in the product description.... Read More Stop the one-size-fits all approach! Make a "normal" and "large" for your hats! I have a big head and most Patagonia beanies do not fit me. I was emboldened because another reviewer said this runs large, it does not. We shouldn't have to comb through reviews to figure out the sizing of hats.
2) The material, it's itchy. It constantly makes you tempted to take it off and rub your forehead for relief.

Everyday Hat
Great color and a great fit. Keeps my head warm on California winter days and nights. Dries out pretty quickly after wearing it out on misty mornings. The only downside to the hat is that it can be a little itchy on the forehead compared to other hats I own. 4/5 stars. Would recommend.

Love this patagonia hats as they are super warm and they fit perfect on my head and keep me super warm. Have many hats living in NYC but tend to always get a patagonia.

This product is my go to hat for really cold temperatures; 25 and below. Since I am balding having the warmth of a heavier beanie makes all the difference.
This beanie is amazing. The fit is great and its keeps my head nice and warm in the snow. The logo is pretty cool too. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I love the Brodeo beanies! My head not giant, and a lot of beanies are too long, but this one fits great. The wool is super warm and I love both the hunter green and oatmeal colors.
The cap is very soft and comfortable. My first time wearing it was on a 18 degree day. Kept my head very warm all day. Several positive comments from other workers! I especially like that its recycled!! Will buy another!
I got this hat last winter and have been wearing it for a while. It is a bit smaller than other beanies, a snug fit, which I like so I can wear it under my bike helmet. The material is great quality and has no pilling so far after frequent wearing.
Hat fits well, looks great , and is very warm for its weight and thickness. The one big downside for me is that I have a a shaved head and the hat is itchy. If I had hair on my head it would be great.
The material is nice, and since its a patagonia we can assume it is also sourced economically with protecting the environment in mind. But the main purpose of this is to fit in my head and keep it warm, which it kinda falls short. It's too tight/small and pops out of my big head.

Fits nicely on a big head!
I have a big head and this hat fits really well! Super warm too.
Others seem to be happy with it so these opinions are based on my own personal standards. First off, this is the itchiest cap I have ever worn. I have dozens of wool, cashmere and even mohair caps, nylon caps, handmade & recycled - you name it. This thing is a torture device. What's the Point?
What's the point of creating a beanie that doesn't cover your head properly? This must have been made for a toddler.

Ethical & Very Comfy
I came to Patagonia because I wanted ethically sources materials made by workers treated in an ethical way. Materials are very nice. Colors are beautiful. Snug fit. Will recommend and come again if I need more.
I've had a lot of knit hats. Patagonia knit hat was rated as on eof the best so I bought one. Seems like it runs a little small but maybe it will stretch over time. Still a great hat.
Bought a beanie hat and t-shirt - first time with Patagonia after years with The North Face. Products are brilliant and fit as expected. Look and feel quality but delivery (Royal Mail) made the experience as a first-timer a little disappointing. In the winter, I've got a beanie on for part of nearly every day. This one keeps my brains from freezing on windy ridges and is just grown up enough that it let's me run late into a casual meeting without it being completely obvious that I was late b/c I did another lap.

I love the way it fits my small head. Some beanies tend to slide down my forehead. This style does not. I bought the new red jacket and the hat matches perfect! Love this new red.
The liner in this hat is a good thought but the wool rubs through. Probably no big deal when you have hair but Im bald! Anyway, the more I wear it the better it feels. I love the look.
I’ve had quite a few different beanies to cover my bald head. This is one of my favorites. Covers just enough of my ears to keep them warm, but not too much so I can still hear something.
I bought this hat first year they sold it in grey and I have used it from backcountry skiing to a casual piece and everything in between. Very nice fit and real good warmth even when soaked

Paired with my Torrentshell jacket, this was nice to have in rainy Alaskan weather. I'm sure it'll also be good during the hellish midwestern winter that's sure to come later this year.
Nice lighter weight hat thats pretty soft and fits well. If you have a larger head, maybe consider a different style as this one may leave your ears out in the cold. For me, I couldn't ask for more.

I can count on the quality of Patagonia products. I can sometimes find the same quality in products of other companies, but when given that choice I pick Patagonia because of its environmental commitment.
This is a pretty good beanie even for my big head. It does stretch a bit but I have yet to find a beanie that doesnt stretch a bit. Would be good if they did size options with these but I do like the minimalist design of it.
I was very excited about this beanie but it is very small and rides up without covering my ears. It fits my young 5 year old well, but he wont wear it because it is too scratchy.

Tight fit
This is otherwise very nice, but the fit is so snug that I had to have my 4 year old use it. If you wear glasses, this cap will be so snug your ears are sore by the end of a hike.
This is a supercute hat. I'm a small person (short, slim, small head) and the hat barely covers my ears. I have no idea how it fits a big human. Don't get me wrong, I like it. It is the right size to make my hair look good poking out from it when it's not too cold. But it is definitely not warm enough on its own in the winter. I need... This beanie keeps me warm but never over heated. Working out in the desert on a January morning you need to stay warm. Working into the day I forgot I had it on, never overheated! Its great.

Near perfect hat.
Love this hat. Fits my average size head perfectly. Im bald and while it is occasionally itchy, that could also be from all the sawdust Im around. Buying a 2nd one for my teenage son so he stops accidentally taking it.
My head size runs between Med-Lg and this fits a too snugly. Nice looking hat, good color, but the tight fit won't make it my usual. The recycled wool is also more scratchy that expected.

Warm and thick.
Love the hat. My only suggestion would be to add a strip of microfleece on the interior to prevent itchiness.
So I have a very large head. It fit but I wish the cut was a little bigger. Im also bald so I found it a little itchy out of the bag. Hopefully it softens up.

Looks good, feels good
A nice, warm, good looking beanie. Cant ask for much more then that.
I have one in every color (RIP to the desert orange that has now been stolen twice). Love this beanie. Runs a little small at first but will stretch. Be weary of washing!
Overall very comfortable. I got 3 of those, all shrank badly after washing (cold water setting). After washing, it fits a 4 years old head, material gets flimsy and all the stitches strech so bad, you can see through. Patagonia needs to rethink this item, could be so much better. Super Cozy and Stylish Beanie
I have a rather large head and often times, beanies tend be too small or too tight for me. Naturally I was worried about buying this beanie but it actually fits quite well on my head! Very snug.

My favorite beanie!
I own a ridiculous amount of these. I must have had at least 10 in different colors. Sadly I lost a a few over the years. But it fits snugly so it will not pop off my head in windy conditions. Very comfortable to wear. A good beanie hat and I am giving it a good review even though I dont agree with your Company Politics or your Massive Contradictions.
This beanie is my new favorite. It's not too tight, and not too floppy. I also find it a great weight - something I can wear outside on a brisk autumn day, as well as inside when I keep the thermostat low. Overall - perfect.
I have a larger dome (7 3/8) this fits pretty solid. Warm but not too heavy or floppy. A little on the smaller side out of the bag, but after a few wears fits really nice. Goes with everything and packs super small.
I expected the product to be softer than what it is but it's made of great quality. Seems slightly smaller than what I thought it'd be for a fit but I still need to stretch it out. Customer service was excellent when getting back to me about a replacement product.
Looks really cute on but if you have a lot of hair like me its prone to popping off your head, doesnt cover your ears, and I think poor stitching design leads it to be too narrow towards the top forcing it to not wrap around your head properly. Sound little beanie
Cracking little rascal of a hat this. I’m always weary of hats and how they look but this is great. Nice different colour options - great quality and warm to keep you toasty. Tidy piece of kit.
After 48 years on this planet, I consider myself a wily veteran of headwear. This beanie fits my bulbous head perfect. I dont want to take it off. Its warm, its simple yet stylish. I never write reviews... ever, but I was so elated after donning this atop my dome that I had to praise the human that designed this. Bravo you... bravo...
This is my go to beanie but it is a bit itchy on my forehead. I kinda wish it had some soft fleece on the inside but I will continue wearing it. It looks cute on and keeps me warm on cold mornings.

Very Warm
Got my Brodeo Beanie a couple weeks ago, and have already worn it twice. Both times hiking in 48 degree weather. Definitely runs on the small side. Im a girl with a smallish size head and its pretty snug. Might not work for large size heads though unless it can be stretched out a bit. Super Warm
I love these beanies! I got the green and heather grey beanie. Super comfy and warm! Fit really nice...my favorite beanie from Patagonia.
This hat has kept my head toasty warm while working and looks sharp. The length is a little short to cover my ears, a few more centimeters would give full coverage. Admittedly, I do have a pretty large head.
This hat has been great for cool city nights in SF. It's comfortable but not as comfortable as some other knit hats I've had. I've haven't worn it out adventuring yet as I kind of want to keep it nice looking but I get the impression it won't breath super well.
Warm and Comfortable for taking a walk on a cold winter day, or the morning run. Though let it air dry after a wash... I accidentally put mine in the clothes dryer.. and it shrunk, like a few sizes.

Small Hat
The hat was horribly small. I cant imagine any adult human fitting such a small hat. I thought it was a joke. I think someone from Patagonia should try one on and see what everyone else has attempted to tell them. All other products have been great.

Very, very small hat
The quality of this hat is great, and the patch is very nice, however - the sizing is WAY off. My child has a normal sized head, but this hat didn't even come to his ears. It is almost the size of a yarmulke. And at the price of 5.00 to return it, I am hesitant because the hat was 17.50. I am so disappointed.

Brodeo "2.0" is a letdown
Got a brodeo beanie about 1-2 years ago. Loved the shallow depth fit and so did my wife, she kept stealing it! So I got her TWO for xmas. They changed the fit and the appealing feature (the shallow fit) is gone in both of them, and one is too small overall. If a fundamental design element is changed, so should the name so customers aren't buyi... Read Moreng under false pretenses. If you want a "normal" overpriced beanie, this'll do. If you have a Brodeo 1.0 beanie and want another like it, move along.

Toasty Head
This beanie kept my head toasty and was very well crafted. Keep up the great work.
Purchased this hat first season they sold it and it has stood the time. Great no frills look and easily transfer from aerobic to casual but for sure more of a around the house /town hat.
