My favorite jacket!
I was looking for a winter jacket and this one met all my requirements. Warmth, fit and length! I am 5' 0" and this jacket fits just a tad below the knee. Constant zipper problem, not Patagonia quality
This jacket does not live up to the price and name. It looks warm but it is not as warm as it should be for the thickness/bulkiness of it. I really liked the parka. I followed the instructions to find the right fit and unfortunately it turned out way too long it looked like a long dress on me. It was also to big. I would recommend it to a taller friend.

Happy with coat
I'm glad to have this coat, which is light, warm and has useful pockets and two-way zipper. It falls to the bottom of my knees and has been warm enough for our coldest days so far this year. I can wear a pile jacket underneath with no problem. My only, minor, complaint is that the hood is noisy -- the nylon brushing against hair or a hat makes a fair amount of noise. I was looking for a coat that was longer and would keep me warm in the New Hampshire winters. This coat does not disappoint. Its lightweight but substantial at the same time. You can feel the quality of the coat when you slip it on. I did my homework and read many reviews and was glad I ended up with this coat. Great job Patagonia!

The low side buttons (just above the knees) are genius for comforts while sitting down. But truly, the only reason I even purchased a down coat at all was the fact that 87% is recycled down! We have winter temps occasionally as low as 0º to 20s and my older version has worked extremely well to keep me warm and comfy on those nights. This new version does not offer good cold protection'- I felt the cold seeping through on a 40ishº day.
