Protect the ocean so it can protect us
Our future is tied to the ocean. Its shared seas connect us through food, culture and sport. The home of amazing, abundant life, it’s also a powerful climate solution. Yet the practice of bottom trawling threatens to destroy this precious resource—bulldozing our ocean floor, undermining small-scale fisheries and deepening the climate crisis. Let's end this destructive practice, starting with an immediate ban in marine protected areas and inshore zones.

I waited a long time to wear these not sure about the combo of fleece and the lighter material on the knees and other areas - and now I can't believe I waited. Read Morethe hip for easy accessibility, the fleece parts are warm and they are stretchy for scrambles and difficult moves. They are easy to pack and super flattering. 5*
Bought for my partner. Good quality, worth paying a little more to get the useful pockets that not all trekking tights have. These are also better quality than others she has from different brands.
A little shorter than expected, and hoped the knee and back panels were a little more rugged. They feel thin, even if they are hopefully sturdy. I would have preferred a thicker fabric but time will have to tell how they stand up to climbing and hiking wear and tear.
I was excited about these - but unfortunately they did not work out. I read the reviews (focused on the fit), and I ordered what I thought was appropriate. Length, waist, etc. was great, however, if you are curvy in the "seat" area, the reinforced area does not have much give and makes these uncomfortable. I sent them back.
These are really nice hiking leggings. The only improvement to them would be to add a drawstring at the waist. They do stay up unless you have too much in your side pockets.
I absolutely adorn these as outdoor pants. Plus, can wear these at work when manual labor is necessary, be comfy and professional all at the same time. Will be buying another pair before camping, fishing and hunting season which is right around the corner.
We appreciate the feedback, Hope. These tights have a formfitting fit, so the waist definitely should not be big. We're thinking a size down could help, to begin an exchange [click here](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html). Comfy and well made
This is one of two first pairs of leggings from Patagonia. I did not know what to expect. These leggings are so versatile and well made. I will be buying more
As usual, all your products are well made and very durable. The only bummer on this product for me, was just a litttle too short. I like a pant that comes down over the ankle. If you offered a tall size, would be perfect!
Just pulled these on to go do some stuff around the property and was inspired to write a review. I'm 5'8", 125 lbs, thin but with a legit butt and these pants in an XS are perfect fit of support/squeeze and comfort. They also are a nice bit sexy, that never hurts eh? Waist comes perfectly just above my hips. Normally I wouldnt say I&... Read More#x27;d wear an XS, more like a S in other Patagonia tights, so I think these run slightly large. But mostly wanted to promote these as great workpants and weeding pants (garden/farm work needs to be added to the "use this product for" list)! Not for super heavy work, but for repairing things outdoors and general putzing around fixing things or hauling things here and there and using our equipment, they're awesome. And majorly for weeding action. The reinforced knees and butt are perfect for those activities (and the pockets). When I first put them on after purchasing I could see how people find them slightly uncomfortable initially (because of where the seams for the reinforcing fall, we aren't used to feeling our clothes in those spots) but after 20 minutes or so your body and mind adjust and you don't feel it anymore and I actually find them super comfortable. Also a perfect balance of kinda cozy but not too much to get hot. I go out and mow in the sun wearing these. We live at 2000ft altitude in Hawaii. I'll try them out hiking, too, I'm sure they're great for that. I both mine on the winter sale (green ones, color tone is perfect classic timeless green) so didn't pay full price but I would, given how much they serve my needs. Cheers!
I bought these because after 5 years of punishment the elastic on my last pair of pack out tights gave out. These are proving to be just as durable so far. I bought these pants beginning October in a shop and went for a size small since they didn't have XS. not comfortable enough to keep. I exchanged for a larger size, which was too big at the waist. Returned both M and L and switched to a different style of hiking pants.
Wore these to hike around Mt Hood. 3 days/2 nights. Wore these two days and a lighter pair of REI pants for one day. These are perfect for sitting on the ground/rocks. We had to do some boldering over rocks and I scraped these really good and they held up. They are a bit heavy and need a lighter version of these for warmer days. I am 5'1 120 a... Read Morend an XS fit perfectly. I am curvy and never felt like these were too tight. I'd love them a bit shorter and may alter. Overall, well worth the money and glad I had them. Only complaint, a bit warm for 60' weather.
Firstly, I am SO happy that companies are now making women's tights/leggings with pockets. It's long overdue!
You can feel the quality in these and they are so comfy.
If I had 1 minor criticism, it would be that you can really feel the seam on the knee patch panel.
I read the review that the fit was for short plump people. Being a 70 year old great grandmother it is nice to have something tech that actually fits. My favorite hiking pants from the desert to rain so far, no snow yet we will see.
I wore these for a multi day hike in northern Sweden and loved how comfortable they were. The flat waistband works well beneath a rucksack hip belt and they dry fast if you get wet. The only drawback for me is that I wish the fabric panels on the knees and bum were a bit tougher.
wanted everyone to know how good these are i never hike in tights /close fitting pants ever but decided to try and get into the trend lol!

These are very well-made leggings, with thick fabric and a nice color pattern. However the fit just wasnt right for my figure. Specifically, they made my rear area look flat (and it is not!). Great fit, pockets, material
Love these! They fit so perfect and feel so comfortable. Robust but not tight. And they are just the right length.

Really like these pack out 'hike' tights.
Actually, I am liking the pack out tight line more and more. I purchased the smolder blue, which isn't as bright as the one the model is wearing, but still shows the color differences from the patches for nice definition.
Great fit and wonderfully soft around the legs. As others have said, I wish the reinforcements were 2 layers. Also not the warmest tights for winter, but I'm very happy with them otherwise!
I have a chronic problem in that I am committed to sustainability and Patagonia does the best job of any brand I am aware of in this area but the sizing is honestly as though its designed for short plump people rather than anyone who is tall and needs the clothes to stay on when running or scrambling over mountain trails. These are such amazing hiking tights. Warm, durable and so comfortable. I get compliments every time I wear them. I am purchasing my second pair. Thanks Patagonia for always delivering great quality and environmentally conscious products.
I love the regular version of these tights and figured I would get this pair for hiking. Sadly the first time I wore them the reinforced fabric on the knee ripped with one snag of a tree branch on a hike. Super bummed because I was hopeful theyd be able to hold up better.
Hello Rebecca! Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We're really sorry to hear that your tights ripped on your first hike with them. Absolutely love it!!
Supe confortable- Im a minimalist and limit the amount of clothes I have, but I definitely feel the urge for a second pair
I'm very comfortable in this and it's on a warm/thicker side. However, when using it to run, I find myself pulling the waist back up sort of often, the top elastic band sort of slides down. One of my favorite Patagonia products by far. It's rare to find a legging that is durable, comfortable, functional and attractive. Baggy in some leg areas and overall dorky looking on me so I had to return them. I wear the Centered tights (my all time fav) 2 x week for Pilates and the W's lightwieght packout pants for hiking/lounge.
Loved these with one exception. The waistband could have been a bit snugger. I found myself having to occasionally pull them back up to my waist. As for Durability they were awesome! Love the pockets but...
I probably should have purchased a medium but was concerned about fit for thick calves and large thighs. The size large works for that purpose but they are too big in the waist. I’ve been looking at these for a while and finally ordered them. It’s my first purchase of actual activewear for hiking and I’m so happy I made the decision. The construction and quality is perfect. Cannot wait to use these.
I've worn them out hiking a few times already and have found them to be really comfy. I love the reenforced patches and the over all quality is great. Definitely on the thicker side so won't be wearing them in warm weather but they're going to be perfect for autumn and winter.
I usually wear a UK size 10 and found the S fits well.
I love these pants, the two different materials break up the look of a typical legging. The only major bummer is that the different materials compete and drag the pants down while hiking and running. I am constantly pulling them up. I am 5ft9 with an athletic build for reference.
I have the pack out tights and loved them. Hiking in Texas has its share of thorny vegetation and rough rocks, and the addition of abrasion resistant fabric to these is a very smart idea because tights aren't the best when you're roughing it. I am so happy I got these pants. Normally I just hike in leggings & dont particularly care for traditional hiking pants, but these are the best of both worlds. The reinforced knees and butt make them great when climbing, scrambling, or sliding is needed while giving the flexibility of normal leggings. These are super comfortable!
I was really excited to try these hike tights as I love the regular pack-out tights (the original, not the capri ones with the super tall waistband)...and they are wonderful and first the same (nice updated zip pocket), except for some reason the decision was made to not have the knees double reinforced. I purchased these to use at Orienteering & Adventure Racing event where we do a lot of bushwhacking through greenbrier and such. These hiking pants are very comfortable. I have an older version and the addition of the abrasion-resistant knees and backside this year is a practical upgrade and looks cool.
I was surprised to find that the difference in fabric between the panels and the tights was very stark.
