So disappointed Patagonia. This jacket has ZERO stretch. I bought it because the first words were stretch in the description. Complete BS. This jacket is longer, which is great, but only if you are a stick figure. No modest aline for hips at all and no stretch. Once again, huge design flaws for women and inaccuracies in descriptions of the product.

Tahoe Troll
I love this shell. It keeps the cold wind out completely with no leaks in the seams. Earlier this winter I unfortunately had a ski release in the powder and skied into a small fir tree, ouch. This jacket didn't have a scratch on it. My favorite tuff jacket. Would love to get another one in some fun floral print.
I have used this jacket just once so far, for resort skiing. Performed well, but I have yet to use it in wet conditions.
It runs a bit large - plenty of room for bulky layers underneath, allowing for good freedom of movement. At the cuffs, the sleeves have enough velcro adjustability to go over or under gloves.
The pass pocket is well situated on the upper arm. I would have liked a second internal goggle pocket (such as for for snacks and spare neck gaiter) and a convenient place for a goggle wipe.
I'm looking forward to using this jacket for several years.
Fits great! Couldnt decide between a medium or large. Ended up with a medium and am happy with the choice. The shell is perfect, on the colder days Ill just add an extra layer. I love the color! Overall very happy with the product.

The quality of this jacket is superb. The fit, the stitching, great pockets, cool color, great ventelation, large hood to cover ski helmet are all high quality. I will make sure that everyone in my community is told about my experience with Patagonia and the quality of their merchandise.
I usually get small but purchased middle for layering. I have been using it for spring skiing and hiking, and it's an absolutely perfect. Light and water resistant, this will be my go-to alpine hiking jacket!!
This is a perfect outer layer for skiing or snowboarding. I ordered a small and can fit a fleece and small nano puff underneath with more room if it really gets cold. Sleeve length and actual length of the coat is perfect. Hood and neckline get a little wonky sometimes but other than that I'm super happy with it!

Staying dry in South Western Oregon can be a challenge. Just put on this shell to go feed during a torrential downpour and expected to come in with some seepage, but stayed completely dry. Wore it to town and a random person in the grocery store told me I looked really cute- for a 67 year old that was a shock! I told him it was the new coat!
This is a top quality waterproof that fits well and is long enough to go to top of thigh and keep you dry. It's a great colour and fit, and easy enough to move around in if you're feeling active.
I'm 5'9" and 185, but rather lanky-- my arms are very long even for my height, and the arms on this jacket are plenty long for me. It is perfect for what I was looking for-- a shell with some sort of flattering shape and great functionality.
As confirmed by other reviews, this jacket is really long both in the torso and the sleeves. However, that works well for me! I use it for backcountry skiing, and the extra length helps hold in core body temperatures. It's large enough on me to fit a puffy and fleece underneath.

My husband has had the men's version if this jacket for a couple of years, and it has served him very well. Still looks like new despite frequent wear, has never leaked during rain, has kept him warm with layers underneath for skiing. On this experience, I ordered the women's version. I had to return it because the M was way too big (like... Read More, I was wondering whether I might actually need an XS given how big it was). I didn't re-order this jacket in a smaller size because between the style and the color combo, it wasn't feminine enough for me. That said, it seemed like a functionally great jacket. My one gripe with it (and frankly, equivalents from other brands too) is that when fully zipped up, the front comes up too high over the bottom of the face, so when you walk, this rigid stand-up part rubs up and down on your chin, mouth and/or nose. Great protection against bad weather, but a bit annoying for casual wear. But all jackets of this type seem to have this feature.

Im 59, 150 lbs, 38C. Athletic build/wider shoulders and this fits great. Wouldnt add more than the a base layer, r1/r2 and thin puffy. Otherwise it would be tight in arms/chest.
I love the color of the Sunset Orange jacket and wanted to pair it with the light balsamic Pow Slayer bib however I tried it in medium and it was too long and tight at my hips and it bunched out weirdly at my chest. I tried on the Untracked Jacket today and the medium fit perfectly so something is definitely off with the fit of this jacket Maybe if you have skinny hips it will hang better and not bunch in the chest. If you have hips it won't fit. It's a good price, the fabric felt nice and the bright orange with the balsamic looked great. Unfortunately it all went back.
