These gloves hit the mark in so many ways - they are a perfect cold weather running glove.

Itchy and poorly sewn

I like many aspects of these gloves - the right degree of warmness and the wind shield is great. However, the seams of the gloves are very rough and the cause such bad itching at the wrists that I have to roll them up to wear them. It's super disappointing because all my other Patagonia gear is really perfect. This one is a "swing and mis... Read Mores."

Super lightweight but not too warm

I purchased the xs but was surprised it was still on the larger side for me in the finger length. It is soft and lightweight and I loved the screen accessibility and the versatility of the added weather proofing mitten. However I was disappointed that it didnt keep my fingers warm at all when the temp was in the low 40s when hiking. It did finally ... Read Morewarm my fingers up when the temp reached the mid 50s. I think it may work better in the lower temps when running/higher exertion so have yet to test that out. We appreciate you taking the time to write us a review. As you mentioned, these gloves are made for more high output activities. They don't have a whole lot of insulation, so they won't be our warmest option. Hand warmth varies from person to person, so we'd recommend checking out something like our [Synchilla Fleece Gloves]( instead, they might work better for you.

Not that warm

Was very excited to receive these as I LOVED my peak mission tights for running in cold weather. Tested these out in the Catskills where the temps for hiking dropped to 30's. Sadly these did not keep my fingers warm at all during the hike. Only when the temps raised up too the lower 50's did it start to warm my fingers up. They also ran a... Read More bit bigger than expected compared to other gloves sized at xs. (I bought the better sweater glove/mitten) I did add the extra layer designed for other weather conditions that makes the gloves into mitten to add a little more warmth which it did a little bit. The touch screen feature definitely works well. So wanted to love these for the price paid but not that impressed.
