I absolutely love these pants. I have them in five colors and they essentially sit on a repeat cycle of my work from home attire every week! They fit true to size and I love the thick waistband. I bought these pants for yoga and general hanging out. So far so good! They have a modern, streamlined fit and are a good length for me - hitting just above my ankle bone. I love Patagonia's mission so much, so it pains me to say that the sizing of their clothes is incredibly inconsistent and makes me quite frustrated. Read Moreo. I bought these pants assuming that a size medium would fit me once again, but as some of the other reviews mentioned, these are huge! I am not sure if the different materials make it difficult to consistently size the different articles of clothing or what, but it truly makes buying clothes off the website a gamble. The quality of the pants is great, and with the drawstring waistband I can make it work, but I definitely would recommend buying Patagonia products in person if you can, as the high prices make sacrificing the possibility of a perfect fit a little annoying.

I was very disappointed in the fit because your model was 5'9" and wore a small. I'm 5'9" as well and take a medium which fit well in the body but was terribly short in the legs -- way above my ankles. Maybe you should give the inseam length in your description.
