Comfortable and versatile. Good as helmet liner on really cold days. No itchiness from fabric. Good snug fit without the bulky, awkward-looking sagginess of many knit hats.
Had a similar style hat since I was a kid, a lost it. This reminds me of that hat. Warm, but not too warm. Its perfect for anytime its below 55 degrees for me
I bought this beenie to wear under a mountaineering helmet. Its great for that purpose. The hat runs a little small and doesnt come far down over my ears. Definitely NOT my go to hat for cold weather UNLESS I need something thin to fit under my helmet.
I do enjoy this beanie; it fits well and is useful for a variety of circumstances. I had a 2018 version of the same product however, and recall that it was made of a thicker material that held its shape better.
This hat is pretty comfortable and the material is nice and soft. My only complaint is that the hat kind of rides up to the top of my head an inch or two when I am wearing it.
Fits perfect and can be used for all types of activities. Very warm and light enough to not make one too sweaty. If you put on your hoodie, the hat doesn't slip or move about.

I returned the hat because it was too big for my head. I like the style I order and have what I thought would fit the same as the Black color one that says Patagonia on it that fits perfectly.
I now own two of these and purchased a third for my bride. You cant beat the comfortable fit, it's light weight, and ultimately the warmth for any active winter outdoor activity, fall, winter or spring.
This simple black beanie is my go-to for all outdoor pursuits - camping, backpacking, fly fishing. It fits well, on my head or over a hat, and keeps my head warm; what else is there to say? I hope the person that found my last one, lost in the woods, is enjoying it too!
Bought this for my partner who has a very large head and often stretches out hats. He loves the comfy stretch and often wears this indoors to keep his head warm. I like it too because it looks good on him then when I wear it, I get the oversized, cute beanie look. Great purchase.
Needed a new winter beanie and this one is great. Usually beanies fit tight on me and I was happy that this was a bit larger to fit my head. I wear L/XL baseball caps and this one fit great. Warm too.

This cap fits the bill for anytime I need one. I bought it to help keep my year-long covid lockdown growth of hair, out of my eyes indoors and out. Now that I'm back to a crew cut basically, I still wear the cap because it is so comfortable and stylish, great colors and design.
This is my third purchase of this hat. Unfortunately, I am one of the silent sufferers of macrocephaly and this hat does not fit me. Very sad because I do like the design. So I gave the beanie to my girlfriend who says the hat is very warm. Looks good on her. Patagonia, please make some larger hats to serve this underserved and marginalized population of ingens caputs! Other of these in other colors all state one size. For whatever reason this particular one is really really tight. Almost unusable. Ive given it to my 14yr old.

Fantastic!
Brilliant quality, wonderful colours and great fit. Bought as a gift for my partner for walking, day to day use, and for under a climbing helmet. Couldn't be happier with it!
I have macrocephaly--a head larger than the 98% percentile. This beanie does not fit well at all. It is warm, and feels nice, so if you don't silently suffer from macrocephaly, I would recommend it.

It does hat things perfectly.
Its a hat and as a hat, it performs perfectly. Its well made and warm. Not too big, not too short - both of which can be bad when it comes to hats. Excellent for outside work, hiking, running, and casual zoom calls.
Its a bennie, it does what beenies do. Its also Patagonia and it lets everyone know you support the companies that support what you love to do. Shop smart and wear it proud.
The Patagonia Beanie is just what I needed for a snug fitting hat to keep me warm as the temperatures drop. Thank you Patagonia for delivering once again.

for being an "ALL" size, this beanie is crazy small. not like "wow, this is a little tight", but like, it's tight on my 7 year old's head (to whom this was bequeathed). and no, we aren't some oddly Big Giant Head family. so, great for a 7 year old.
This was a Christmas gift for my husband, an adventurous man who knows all about, and buys from Patagonia. It fits snugly so won’t ride up when he’s halfway up a rock face and is soft, comfy and looks good.
I purchased a few hats and shirt for myself, and a shirt for my mom about three weeks ago. I love my purchases, but my mom loved hers so much she bought two more. She loves how soft it was and how well it fit her. Patagonia gained a new life long customer in her.
I was looking for a hat that was soft. This is a hard thing to do while shopping on the internet because you cannot touch the fabric. I was disappointed that the fabric was not soft and returned item.

Used to love Patagonia beanies
I've purchased several beanies from Patagonia in the last couple years... None of them ever fit anymore. I used to love them ten years ago... Sadly I've lost my last old/good one. I'm not sure why the reviews are all over the place on this hat, but I love it. I have a small head and always have trouble finding hats that actually fit. I've bought several beanies from Patagonia that were way too big for my head. This is one of the first that actually fits for the most part (it could be a little smaller).
These hats are not for people with a hat size over 7 1/4. They also tend to shrink over time. They are good for fitting under a helmet. Love Patagonia gear normally but man. Might be time to make a big and a small size here y'all.
I had one of these that burned up when my house burned down. Got another one because I loved it so much. Fits under a helmet for ice climbing and ski touring,or can be worn alone to keep my head toasty warm. I love the Fitzroy graphic. Never been there,hope to go,but this beanie reminds me to keep dreaming of far away places.
