Protect the ocean so it can protect us
Our future is tied to the ocean. Its shared seas connect us through food, culture and sport. The home of amazing, abundant life, it’s also a powerful climate solution. Yet the practice of bottom trawling threatens to destroy this precious resource—bulldozing our ocean floor, undermining small-scale fisheries and deepening the climate crisis. Let's end this destructive practice, starting with an immediate ban in marine protected areas and inshore zones.

I bought the original down sweater something like 15 years ago, and wore it all the time. The only damage in all that time was a tiny pinprick hole, but it was enough that I exchanged it this year; the new one is working out great.
I love the down sweater, this isnt my first Patagonia that Ive owned , but why the change of the cuffs? Theres a saying, if it isnt broken, dont fix it.
Hands down, great all season jacket. This is my second of this jacket. From cool camp mornings in Wyoming to snowshoeing in the Sierras to cool evenings at outdoor events, it fills the bill.
Down sweater is a great winter coat that looks good and keeps you warm from strolls in the park, shopping in town, to drinks by the fire pit.

I got the Sedge green but when it arrived it seemed completely washed out and minty/seafoam. Just thought the pictures online were not a good representation of the product color. Also not a big fan of the very subtle two-tone but that's just me. Fits wide around the waist for me but sleeve length is perfect, I'm 6'6 190
This was the exact look I was after. For reference, I am 5 feet 11 inches, 175 lb with a 40 inch chest and the medium is literally a perfect fit. I really liked the old model but after a few years of wearing it some rips and tares formed. I went to my local store to ask about repairs and they replaced it with no additional cost instead!! The new jacket is great. The materials seem tougher and the jacket feels warmer.
I love this jacket/sweater...light as a sweater but must more versatile and my warmest jacket in my Patagonia collection. I have a 42' chest and I typically wear Large but on occasion (this is one of them) a Medium fit much better. I recommend you try it on in a store as the online chart would left me swimming in the Large.
I went to mountain Alps (Switzerland) and stayed outdoor (~0 degF) for at least 20 minutes but I didn't feel cold where the jacket was covering me. I spent a good money on this jacket and I didn't regret it. Now, I need another Patagonia jacket for the fall and spring seasons. ^^*
This jacket has 800 down fill power, so it provides a lot of warmth yet is still lightweight and not at all bulky. The fabric is soft and malleable, not stiff like other brands of down jackets.
Again im pleased with the quality, fit and feel of the product.
Lets see if it will really last for years but for now i dont have any remarks.

Design defect?
Had bought for look and warmth however had to return due to excessive bits of down coming out through the seams. More than what an average person would expect from a new jacket. Best Jacket
Great fit. Room enough for layers underneath. Warm. Stylish
This is my second one after wearing its predecessor for many years. It is comfortable to wear on a cool spring night and keeps me warm in below freezing winter weather. Light and easy to pack.
I had the previous generation and this one feels a lot nicer to the touch and fits perfectly, very warm. There's a reason why we pay for patagonia they are the best.

Light weight and very warm love it
Very nice jacket super light and warm fits perfectly.
This is my third jacket with Patagonia in recent years and I loved all of them. The jacket works really well for skiing and cold Northeast winters. Highly recommended.
I hate the cold with a passion and usually wear a hoodie and really thick jacket. This eliminates both. Its slim and comfortable and its breaks the wind amazingly. I can wear it when its 60 and be not to hot like a thick jacket might but i feel warm when its 20 degrees like if i had on a big jacket and multiple hoodies on.
Really comfortable "sweater" which is their name, I'd call it a light coat. The down filling doesn't make you hot at all, and you never get cold. Looks great, get lots of complements. I got the grey with blue zipper and lining. When completely zipped, it doesn't bother my neck as most do.
Great coat. Would get 10/5 stars if given option to buy without branding on chest. Would love label omit or more discreet branding (on many products) akin to the womens silent down. The products speak for themselves. Thanks.
The word SWEATER made me wonder how warm it would be but its perfect for low 30s and maybe even high 20s. The fit is just right and I love the colorful trims.
This jacket has already become my go-to jacket. It retains warmth in cold conditions while regulating temp at higher temps (in 50s F) admirably. This jacket fits really well, is made of environmental friendly materials, and looks great. Its super lightweight but keeps you warm and protected from the elements. Another great Patagonia product!
The redesign has given the cuffs almost no elasticity. The collar stands up nicely for wind protection, but I can see it getting dirty easily since it can directly contact your neck and get sweaty. Unfortunately the ends of the sleeves were very large, allowing the sleeves to droop down halfway over my hands. The elastic seemed very weak. Additionally, the zipper on the most recent sweater was tiny, compared to the zipper on my current sweater. I fear that it regressed back to the quality of the weak, failed zipper on my first sweater. For the two reasons mentioned, we returned the recently purchased sweater, and I'm just going to keep taping up the holes in number 2 that I'm wearing now.
