This jacket was a big hit with my grandson. He especially liked the lining of the jacket that is a wild animal print. Unfortunately, the size runs small and it fit too snugly. I ordered a larger size for him and received nearly a full refund on the first jacket.
We use this to bum around town running errands and to/from school. Great for fall, and has just enough warmth with a sweater without being bulky for MidWest winter errands. We add or swap a thicker layer for extended cold weather activities, but our tot and we love this jacket!
My picky toddler loved his first one so much that we had to buy another when he grew out of it. I like that they now have a patterned inside. It's warm and it bothers my son less because it doesn't have a hood. It's quite durable and will hold up well with our two kids.
My son was a warm guy. The care taken to craft a garment reflects well on me as a parent. I take care of my children at a molecular level and even deeper. The clothes they wear parallel my care for them

Nice cold weather jacket that is not too bulky for toddler car seats.
I have bought 3 of these for my grandkids. They are perfect for spring and fall in NH. Warmth without bulk, great for active kids. Highly recommend, one of the jackets is on its third child!
I bought this for my daughter to wear as a transition piece between her fleece jacket and her winter coat. It feels much thinner than it appears (it barely feels like there is anything filling the quilted pockets). I am not sure its much warmer than her fleece but its too chilly to find out or return right now.
Ordered this for my toddler for winter. We are in NYS so it gets pretty cold and snowy. This jacket is absolutely perfect for daily use because it works great in the car seat. Could probably be a tad thicker, but overall its really a great jacket for daily use.
Bought this for my 6 month old and it fits a little big but thats what I wanted to make it last. Had him wear it in 60 degree weather and he was cozy! Love these for being a little more water resistant than down.

Need stronger zippers for your children's jackets. I bought 4 jackets for my grandchildren, one for my daughter and another for my husband. The zipper in one of the children's coats broke. You guys replaced the jacket. He had only worn it for about a month. We love your jackets.

Since I'm not the one wearing it, I'm not sure how warm it is, but I'm hoping it's warm enough for kiddo! Super easy to wash. I put him in this every day because it's so cold at daycare drop-off time.
Got this jacket in orange for my toddler. She is 2 years old and the jacket has plenty of room to grow. We have used it a couple of time in the rain and it kept her warm.

Guys in the family have this jacket so bought for grandkids. Fit in body fine, but sleeves very long. Coat is quite thin, no puff to it. Will not be warm enough for an Ohio winter. I bought the puffier, hooded jackets last year and should have purchased those again. For the price, this jacket does not cut it.

Perfect fall coat
I bought this as a fall coat for my son. We are located in Cleveland, ohiowhere the weather can span highs and lows for fall. Its been perfect for him so far! Its warm enough but not bulky. Perfect for layering clothing underneath.
Hes 42 tall, 36 pounds. 5t fit perfectly.
I bought a size 5T to replace a 3T and I was expecting that it would be a bit big and we would get two years of wear, but it doesn't seem to be that much bigger than the 3T and I know that we will only get one year out of this one. We buy this jacket every year for our daughter. From fall , through winter and then to spring we use it all the time. These are best on carseats too. Perfect for quick errands and school drop off and pick up. they wash so well too. Its our holygrail product.
I bought this coat for my 4 year old. I bought the larger size so it will last longer and there is a lot of room to grow but it is also wearable now, which is great. Comfortable, fits well and easy to wash. Perfect for a little kid.
We have these jackets for every person in our family (mom, dad and two boys). They are the perfect weight and warmth and pack down super small. My boys love them - as do I!

Child will wear well fitting coats without trouble, but hates how his oversized Patagonia bunches up and is constantly trying to get it off. For reference, he is 24 pounds, 31 inches tall (80th percentile). He has a 12-18 month Patagonia, but I wish I had bought a 6-12 month size instead.
I purchased a 3T for my 2.5 year-old son, great fit with room to grow. While wearing the jacket, my son made a happy mess with a Chick-Fil-A strawberry shake. The fabric was a breeze to clean with Pampers baby wipes without leaving a white ring or residue! Definitely a jacket through his toddler years!
Purchased the 6-12mo originally but its way too big, ordered 3-6 mo and its still very big on our 5 month old but thats ok because she can wear it longer.
Great jacket for cool/cold rainy or snowy weather. Plenty of room for layering but not bulky. Wrists fit well, stay off his hands, which we like. Puff mittens fit over the sleeves. I loved this coat when I received it. Its a perfect weight for inbetween seasons in Upstate NY, however, I wish the quality was better. My active toddler wore it one day and a stick poked a hole in the front of the coat. For the price, I wish it held up a little better!!

Patagonia jackets are hands down the best! The material is very durable and the jacket is well made. It is a little on the big side which is great because our daughter will get many years of use. I would highly recommend this jacket (or any of their other jackets/buntings).

No hood!
I had this jacket with a hood in a 3T and was able to squeeze two years out of it. I went to repurchase a 5 for my son and found there is no hood. Super disappointed, because little ones need a hood in case of a sudden shower or chill. Please bring the hood back!
Besides the jacket fitting under a car seat, the hood was an important feature since children often lose their hats or forget them. We loved this jacket for our 1 year old last winter so much that I have the next size up in my cart! We live in Minnesota and it worked great in the carseat (passed the test with flying colors), outdoors and for everyday use. Our old one is in almost perfect condition after being heavily used for a winter season. Well worth the money!
My daughter goes to an outdoor forest school. This jacket is great in all weather and as a layer under rain gear. We definitely will be purchasing the next size up for next year.
