Protect the ocean so it can protect us
Our future is tied to the ocean. Its shared seas connect us through food, culture and sport. The home of amazing, abundant life, it’s also a powerful climate solution. Yet the practice of bottom trawling threatens to destroy this precious resource—bulldozing our ocean floor, undermining small-scale fisheries and deepening the climate crisis. Let's end this destructive practice, starting with an immediate ban in marine protected areas and inshore zones.

This was great and fit much like another Patagonia rain coat I bought and 15 years ago but the hood is just way too big and hangs over your face so that you can't see. I think it would only work if you're wearing a goofy hat underneath, unfortunately. I'll have to return it b/c of this hood but loved it otherwise.
Hi Julie, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We suggest taking a look at the [Women's Torrentshell 3L Rain Jacket](https://www.patagonia.com/product/womens-torrentshell-3l-rain-jacket/85246.html?dwvar_85246_color=BLK). It offers the same great 3-layer protection and might be the perfect fit.

Exactly What I Was Looking For!!
The sizing runs true to size! I typically wear a small or medium top (I'm 5'7", 130lbs) and decided on medium because I wanted to be able to layer. My nano fits beautifully underneath the medium.
The features are exactly what I need. Very thin & lightweight, packs down very small. The pockets are spacious and zippers feel very ... Read Morehigh quality. There are no pit zips, which is a downside for some but doesn't bother me. Other comments mentioned the hood fits weird... it is definitely oversized. It can easily fit over a helmet. I cinched it down and it will work just fine for hiking/general wear.
This jacket is insanely lightweight, and after wearing it in a waterfall I can definitely guarantee that it's completely waterproof. Such an amazing product, I can't think of a single thing I'd change.
I love that this jacket is both waterproof and super lightweight. I will use it for backpacking and biking around town. The fit is great--though not stretch, it has just enough room in the arms so that movement is not restricted.
Really lightweight but seems to be waterproof so far. Nice fit - I'm a size 8 to 10 and the S (my usual size in most Patagonia gear) fits well. It costs more than I would ideally pay for a lightweight rain jacket - I have previously always used the Torrentshell - but the colours I wanted in that model were not available. I'm hoping the St... Read Morerom10 will prove as hard-wearing as my previous Torrentshells have.
Minimalist as all get-out EXCEPT for the deep and generous pockets! The sleeve length is PERFECT. This is the first raincoat that actually fits me (XS). It's nice to be able to weave through the bramble and without getting snagged by additional fabric. If your hip size is greater than 36" or 37" I'd size-up to a small. The extra... I bought the Storm10 because it was lightweight and I could backpack it or pop it in my tote. The hood and pockets and minimalist zipper provide everything: no fancy non-essential features. In non-Patagonia clothes, I wear a size 6-8. Patagonia? Always a large. Works out just fine.
The hood is adjustable but made to wear over a helmet. Hood adjustments feel and look awkward. I wanted this for hiking without a helmet. Also too tight in hips as are most of Patagonia jackets for me and my hips are not that big. Too tight in armpits as well. Just an over awkward fit.
Hey Barbara, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us on the Storm10 Jacket. We're sorry to hear that the fit didn't end up working for you. It sounds like this was not the jacket for your needs, since it was designed to be used for alpine pursuits. For what you described, we recommend checking out the [Women's Slate Sky Jacket](https://www.patagonia.com/product/womens-slate-sky-climbing-jacket/85030.html?dwvar_85030_color=DUBN&cgid=womens-jackets-vests). It is minimal in it's features, but still has a slim fit. If you'd like specific garment measurements to help you decide what size would work best, reach out to our customer service team.

Great jacket
Great jacket, great color (paintbrush red) for mountain activities. Fits well, meant to be worn with layers. Thank you, Patagonia.
I've had this jacket for two years and wear it pretty much every day from Nov.-Apr. for hiking, XC skiing and daily walks with my dog. Often need to use the hood which is sized to fit over a helmet and has adjustable cords to size it down for a non-helmeted head. I finally got it adjusted to keep the visor out of my eyes but it's very unc... Read Moreomfortable and I find myself constantly fiddling with it. I now try to remember to grab a rain hat when it looks like rain/snow so I don't have to bother with the hood. Disappointing feature in an otherwise awesome jacket.
Hi Janice! Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We're really sorry to hear about the disappointment with the hood design. With that said, we appreciate your feedback and we'll pass this along to our design team. Just Right
I love that this jacket can fold up so small and works to keep you warm when needed. The pockets are also really nice to have.
This jacket packs up smaller than any other rain coat i've had. The fabric is not crunchy, it has a really nice pliable supple feel. The design is great for biking as it the hood can easily go over my helmet and the rest of the opening for my face is just the right shape and size. I'm not sure about the water repellency yet because it has... Read Moren't been raining much but it will easily live in my pack if theres a chance of rain. So far, I would highly recommend it.
I've been searching for a durable jacket that packs light and works for mountaineering when the weather changes quick. This jacket is great. It provides reasonable weather protection while being light and quite breathable for a rain jacket. Goes nicely with climbing gear, though-out Patagonia features, no unnecessary extras. Bought size S (wid... Read Moree shoulders...) to make it a good fit with base layers/insulation and to make sure my butt is covered :)
This is the perfect light weight water/wind protection shell can be used as a stand alone in WI spring/summer or with a fleece under when weather get nippy. Its techy little details will not disappoint!
I bike to work in bright colors for obvious reasons. I used to use a houdini for dry days and a rainshadow for wet days and this bright chartreuse Storm10 has replaced both of those items! It is so lightweight and breathable that I find myself biking in it on dry days. However, It is so breathable that it can be cold without the correct insulation....
