Protect the ocean so it can protect us
Our future is tied to the ocean. Its shared seas connect us through food, culture and sport. The home of amazing, abundant life, it’s also a powerful climate solution. Yet the practice of bottom trawling threatens to destroy this precious resource—bulldozing our ocean floor, undermining small-scale fisheries and deepening the climate crisis. Let's end this destructive practice, starting with an immediate ban in marine protected areas and inshore zones.

Nice jacket, color is off
I ordered a medium in Nouveau Green. For reference I am about 140 lbs, 5' 5", athletic build with bigger hips. I did the Patagonia size finder on the website and it recommended a medium. I definitely could have ordered a small, but the medium is a nice roomy fit. It's not tight on my hips and the sleeves cover half of my hands when m... Read Morey arms are down, which is nice. I still think I might go in and try a small. The color however, is super disappointing. I ordered the Nouveau Green really excited from what it looks like online. In person it's lighter and more grayish/turquoise. It's hard to describe but does not look like the photo at all. Unfortunately that's why I'll be returning. I might try another color at some point.
We're sorry the color was not what you were expecting, Mariel. We want you to be happy with both the fit and color of everything you get from us, so we'll be happy to help you [return](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) it. We hope we can do better by you next time!
poor zipper design
The arms are way too long, but the worst part is that when my arms swing the fabric gets caught on the zipper snagging the material. Poor design especially considering the cost of the jacket.
Dear Ellen, thank you for sharing your feedback on the Women's Nano Puff Hoody. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the poor zipper design. We appreciate your valuable input. Snug as a bug! Love this puffy. I generally don't like hoodies, but this one is an 'ear saver' in the icy Icelandic wind. Wearing the nano puff under a bigger outerwear parka is also perfect. LOVE IT. I am definitely buying another one. (could have sized down - but I like a little bit of 'room').
If it was a few inches longer it would be perfect.

Women’s Nano Puff Hoodly
I like the hoody a lot except for 1 thing. The sleeves are way way too long. Like ~7” too long for my arms. The sleeves come down below the tips of my hands. I spoke with a customer service rep about alterations but I am having to go find someone in Denver to shorten the sleeves at my expense. Other than that, hoody is good.
jacket was shiny like a plastic bag. upon research found nano puff was water proof which i didn't need. but the down sweater was not shiny much warmer so i exchanged for that in a medium and LOVE it !!!
We're sorry to hear that the Nano Puff was disappointing, but we're glad that you were able to get the Down Sweater which sounds like a better choice for you as it lacks any sheen to the fabric. We also wanted to clarify any misunderstanding, as our Nano Puff jackets, vests and hoodies are water-resistant for a brief period of time, but they are not waterproof. In addition, like most synthetic insulation, if it does get wet, it will retain warmth, unlike down-filled products. Please reach out to our [Customer Service](https://help.patagonia.com/s/) team by phone, online chat, social media or email and we will be glad to help you with any questions or concerns. Quality is sadly diminished
Patagonia used to be bullet proof. I have a puff from 20 years ago that I backpack in. Hasnt even popped a thread. I splurged on this hoodie and kept it for occasional wear. It is now on its way to repair for a failed zipper. My newer puffs break threads almost immediately and stuffing bleeds through and pills. These are expensive garments! Somewhe... Beware it tears
I am a long time fan of Patagonia puffers! Living in Lake Tahoe you need one with you all year round. Unfortunately, I have not been satisfied with this jacket. I love nano puff hoody's, and this is my second one. I ended up returning it though, as I found the color, Obsidian plum, too brown for me. I loved the brighter plum color of the inner lining. Warm and comfy
The Nano Hoody Puff is my favorite insulated jacket. I use it for outdoor activities and also at work. My colleagues love the jacket. I bought a few colors: white, evening mauve, and burl red. I wanted the amber gold/golden muse color. How do i obtain one?

So nice my MIL tried to steal it
Fantastic jacket, the Obsidian Plum color is a gorgeous eggplant purple that has managed to go with every outfit, while being dark enough to hide coffee spills. I just noticed that Patagonia makes jackets with no adaptability to different bodies. This jacket is what Ive been looking for and I felt body shamed. Perfect Go-To Jacket
This is the best lightweight jacket you can find! Provides amazing warmth and comfort by itself or layering depending on the weather, and activity. Great for almost any season, it's my favorite go-to item for sure. I purchased the XS specifically for a more snug fit myself. But fits true to size.
Perfect jacket for hiking/cool weather
Love this jacket! As for sizing. I ordered a large thinking I needed a little room for layering. I am 5ft 5in and 140lbs. It was way too big. Exchanged for a med. Fits perfect! Took advantage of the sale to pick up a new Nano Puff Hoody jacket. Like all Patagonia products, it fits beautifully and I suspect I'll have it for many years. This jacket is exactly what I expected. Recommended to me by 2 of my daughters. I'm 74 years old and recently had back surgery for leg pain. Part of my recovery is hiking & climbing and this jacket helps with temperature changes from cool mornings to warm afternoons.
Best jacket ever!!!!
I am so happy with this jacket. Purchased for travel as the only jacket I would take for 1 year and I could not be happier. The size is smallish so don't be afraid to size up. I always have this with me
This is a really good general use jacket. It also packs so small and light that there is no reason to take it as a back up on any adventure. I find if I'm moving im find in it with a fleece down to about freezing. Add a shell over that and I can take it quite a bit lower. But yeah I love this jacket and I own 2 of them.
I was surprised by the thinness of the jacket and my initial thought was to return it because it won't protect me from the wind or keep me warm. Love the nano puff mens
I am on the shorter side and about 155 lbs. I like all my jackets and things to be looser and hit below my waist. I got this in the Mens large, so it would comfortable zip around my hips. Many seams pulled in less than a couple of months
I love this jacket but many of the seams are pulling in less than 2 months. It catches on the pocket zipper. So there are many pulls. Im not sure if I just got one that the stitches aren't sewn right. Its a shame because I love the jacket, insulation etc.

Wonderful and Warm
I got a size that was a bit too big, so the arms are a bit long in it. I wish I would have known that it ran big, so I am writing this review for those that need that info. It works great though and it extremely warm. The quality is amazing. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

No criticism, just a comment
I appreciate that you have incorporated XXLs in some of your jackets. Please expand your collections to include larger sizes in the shirts as well. I am 82kg with a 42 inch bust line and XLs are just a wee bit too tight. Thank you for showing larger models in your catalogues as well.
I bought this coat to wear on its own in autumn, and layered underneath a heavy wool coat in the winter. It is perfect, and always keeps me warm. One of the sales people at the St Paul, MN recommended this and was absolutely spot on!
St. Paul Patagonia for the win. Thanks for the review, Jessica!
My goto puffer
This is my 2nd nano puff, first one did not die but went missing. I wear this year round for going to work, paragliding, hiking, skiing, or mountaineering. It's the most versatile puffer that I own. Packs small so no reason not to always take it with me. Wears like a hoodie. 10/10 would recommend!

I bought this jacket as I determined the one item I was missing during a 9 week Spring trip in Spain and Portugal was a packable, waterproof, hooded jacket.
