As a flyfishing guide here in the pirynees all I can say it’s confort and lightness. Love that exteme grip on slippery surfaces like wet rocks. Using it for one season and they look like a new boots.
Great lightweight wading boots for river fishing!
I have bought several pairs of stocking foot waders over the last decade, starting with Simms, but then moving to Patagonia because their medium-long fit suits my tall skinny frame perfectly and they just seem better made
However, the Patagonia/Dana wading boots were not a good match just too heavy ... Read Moreand clunky the size 12 foot-tractors absolutely swamped my feet and felt like bricks.
The new Forra is exactly what I was waiting for in a wading boot: snug fit for the size; thick, grippy outer sole to withstand lots of trail walking between fishing objectives; minimal padding on the uppers to keep weight down and enable faster drying.
Psonly received these last Friday, but two days out on the river since then has left me with very positive impressions so far.
