Protect the ocean so it can protect us
Our future is tied to the ocean. Its shared seas connect us through food, culture and sport. The home of amazing, abundant life, it’s also a powerful climate solution. Yet the practice of bottom trawling threatens to destroy this precious resource—bulldozing our ocean floor, undermining small-scale fisheries and deepening the climate crisis. Let's end this destructive practice, starting with an immediate ban in marine protected areas and inshore zones.

I have 3 of these in the older version. I wear without underwear in the hot dry summers of the high mountain desert, comfy and breathable liners. I wear as a swim short, they dry very quickly. Also casually. They need a secure zip pocket for key/ID, maybe a key loop. I have sewn the top of 1/2 of the back pocket and its where I slide my key and ID ... These are literally my favorite shorts. I always struggle finding a good pair that dont ride up and these do a pretty good job. Theyre super comfy and breathable and I love the little pocket in the back
These are the best shorts ever, and Im so bummed they are being replaced with a different style. This exact style should live forever. Perfect length, lightweight, flattering, comfy, delightful.
I bought a second pair because the first fit perfectly and I spend my summer in them! 5 ft, 105 lbs, athletic build, and the XS is great. They are super lightweight and dry quickly, so I use them for paddleboarding, hiking, and walking. The waistband is non-binding and hits at a nice spot on the hip (no muffin top), the mesh liner is neither baggy ... Read Morenor pinchy (no chafing), the short length is modest enough but somehow stays exactly in place (no riding up between thighs), and the cut is a true XS (no baggy diaper butt). They held up to a rugged multi-week hike through the Alps and looked brand new at the end. I hand wash these and they are dry and ready to go again in a few hours.
So cute, perfect length. I'm 5'6" and 140 pounds, and these are perfect. Cover everything but aren't too long. Don't chafe, are very comfortable and light.
These shorts are awesome! The fabric is so light you can barely feel them. They don't bunch up, which is a problem for me with similar styles. I did have to go one size up, but happy with the fit. They also dry really quickly if you're walking in the surf or paddling.
This is a go-to piece for a sports short. I love the style and the material is light and airy. Size M was too big for me and I ended up keeping size Small. It is a tad too tight but at least it doesn't flop around like the medium. I am 5.6, 124 lbs. athletic build.
I really enjoy these shorts. The style is flattering and I love the color (light green). I wear a medium in Nike, Target and Patagonia and these shorts fit the same.
These are my go to running short! Love the fit and little key pocket!
I'm short, and high waisted is a no-go... these shorts make me happy. Great for swimming too.

Multipurpose shirt
I already own 2 pairs - so light!! hiking , running, swimming, beach, and just around the house - dry up super quickly . Ride low at the waste but I like that. Only thing I would add is a zipper pocket - to secure an ID and a key while running - I sewed the 1/2 top edge of back pocket and I slide my ID in there . So almost perfect :)
These shorts fit perfectly. They are light and so moveable, ideal for running and hiking. You could tell just by feeling them they are very well made and high quality. I bought two on sale!
These are my favorite running shorts and have accumulated several pairs over the past few years. They're lightweight, breathable, comfortable, and don't ride or bunch. They last a long time, too. Haven't had any issues with them, and I run almost every day. Highly recommend them!
I love these shorts for running and hiking. I've purchased several pairs from Wornwear and Patagonia. I ordered up a size because they run very small. I love how lightweight and comfortable they are.
Light material, comfortable waist band and perfect length. The back pocket is really useful for keys/card. Got them in grey colour and would buy them again. Already have them in black.
I really liked the lightweight material but the inner liner doesn't stay in place and rides up. I think if the liner was made a little bigger with stronger elastic that would help hold it in place.
I'm normally a medium in running shorts but these were way too small. Returned and got a large for the same price at REI. Those fit perfect and I love them. They would be 5 stars but for the weird sizing.
So far I'm loving these shorts -- I initially bought an XXS, but it was way too small so I sized up and it's perfect. I'm liking the lined undies inside and they're great for running and hiking. I'm also quite short so these are a good length for shorties like me.
We got these shorts for our 12 year old - who has an aversion to lulus... but she tried these on and she fell in love with the style, cut, comfort, and how it breathes well under the island sun. She easily gives it two thumbs up! Mahalo Patagonia!
The best shorts I have ever worn!
Extremely flattering cut, soft fabric that does not rub even on a very long run. They stay in place while hiking and dry very quickly. I have hand washed them multiple times because I wanted to wear them again and they come clean very easily. Excellent product! I need to order another pair!
Sounds like we missed the mark on that one! Please let us know if you need any assistance with sending in a return. We also passed your thoughts along to our Design Team. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Excellent Fit
I love these shorts so much, I have ordered 4 pairs now. I am not a small girl at 180lbs, but love the outdoors and being comfortable In T-shirts and these type of shorts. These fit so well, not constricted, very flattering.
I am 510, athletic, weigh approximately 140lbs and a medium fits perfect (28 waist in most jeans). This is a great short for walking/running and summer activities. I fell between XS & S sizes and ended up going with the small. The liner shorts are just a little too loose but Id rather that than the overall snug fit of the XS. For reference Im 56, 120lbs and wear a 26 in denim.
I've got a pair of these shorts in blue, and they're my new favorites!! Great for running and working out, and just a hot summer day. They fit perfectly and are soo comfortable, and I love that they have a zippered pocket! Excellent shorts all around, highly recommend!
I love these running shorts and wish I had them in all colors. These run slightly small for me so I get a medium. I never chafe with them like other shorts, they are light weight especially for hot days and I highly recommend them. :)
My friend recommended these shorts to me after we met up for the day and suggested I get a size up. I'm usually a small in shorts, but the mediums I fit perfectly and feel like I'm not even wearing them. I can move freely, they breathe well and I look forward to wearing them.
I got these in the mail today. Was super psyched until I noticed that the elastic on the liner leg holes were all stretched out. There is no elasticity at all. Why would the elastic be stretched out? The shorts fit great, but the liner looks like saggy underpants. Tried them on a run and kept getting wedgies.

Forget They're There
A great, simple short. Lightweight and comfortable. The fit is just what I was looking for. I forget the built-in liner is there, which is prime.
The length is fine, but the internal elastic makes these super snug. I have XS in the previous version a few years back. Those ones are a perfect fit. I love these shorts, and will keep the size small I originally ordered. However, for long-distance runners w/my body type (5'8"; 120lbs), they run a bit big. I ordered medium knowing they would fit me better in the waist vs a small. They are comfy for all day wear, with swim clothes, and running road or trail. Please offer more colors so I can buy more!
Overall these shorts are good. I am always looking for shorts that won't ride up while on short runs (~ 2miles) or long hikes.
