Customer Service

We back everything we make with our Ironclad Guarantee. If you have a Patagonia product which is in need of a repair or with which you have encountered a quality issue, please follow the instructions below.

Our repairs service is free of charge. We ask that you pay a local postage rate to send your package to our regional hub. After this, all costs will be covered by Patagonia.

Please note: Due to a high volume of inquiries, please expect a response time of up to 1 week for repair requests.

Repairs process
  1. Please send us the following information to customerservice.europe@patagonia.com:

    • Your contact details (Full name, complete address, and telephone number)
    • Item details (STY/Style number, colour or colour code, size)
    • Description and location of the damage
    • A clear picture of the damaged area
    • A clear picture of the front and back of the care label
    • A copy of the receipt/invoice (if possible)

Without the necessary documentation, no repairs can be processed.

  2. Once we have received all of the above information, we will evaluate the best possible solution for you in accordance with our warranty and policies. You will be sent the relevant documents to facilitate your return/repair.

  3. If the item is deemed reparable, please send us your product. All items sent back to Patagonia must be washed and clean. We will not accept dirty garments.

If the item is deemed irreparable, we may, at our discretion, organise an alternative solution for you.

Most asked questions
How long does the repair process take?

Once delivered to our facility, we do our best to process the repair items within 20 business days. During sale and holiday periods, this time frame may increase. Please note that this does not include transit time to and from our facilities.

Repairs for our Swiss, Norwegian, UK and wetsuit customers are processed at separate facilities; these repairs may take up to six weeks door-to-door.

Can I send any Patagonia products for repair?

Our goal is to repair everything we can, this includes purchases made instore and via a 3rd Party. Unfortunately, in some circumstances a repair may not be possible. Please note items such as hats, wetsuit accessories, underwear and gloves are deemed irreparable, this is due to a number of factors.

How much does the repair cost?

Our repairs service is free of charge. We ask that you pay a local postage rate to send your package to our regional hub. After this, all costs will be covered by Patagonia.

Does Patagonia repair specialty items like waders, wetsuits and footwear?

We’ll do our best to repair your gear, but some items require special attention and some cannot be repaired. For specifics on repairing your specialty item, please see below:

Waders: If you encounter an issue with your waders, please contact our Customer Service team with the requested information from this Repairs page. All waders will be sent for an evaluation in our Portuguese repairs centre. Damage due to wear and tear or accidents such as the occasional run-in with thorns or barbed wire will be repaired under our warranty. In the event of extensive wear and tear when an item cannot be repaired, we will do our best to find another solution for you.

Wetsuits: Wetsuits require extra care and technique when repairing, so we handle these a little differently. Wetsuit failure due to malfunction, such as a broken zipper or torn seam, will be repaired free of charge. Unfortunately, extensive damage due to wear and tear cannot be repaired. Please contact our Customer Service team with the requested information from this Repairs page.

Footwear: Unfortunately, not all Patagonia footwear is reparable. If your footwear is in need of a repair, please contact our Customer Service team with the requested information from this Repairs page. We will be happy to inform you of other options available to you for these issues.
