The key differences are in volume, material updates, and additional design features: the Black Hole tote has a 27L capacity, while the Terravia holds 24L. The Terravia is the updated version of the UL Black Hole and features a lightweight recycled nylon ripstop material, relying on a PU coating for long-term durability, especially in humid environments (compared to the silicone coating on the Black Hole). Additionally, the Terravia comes with shoulder straps built with breathable foam and spacer mesh for increased comfort while carrying. The updated webbing on the Terravia doesn’t get tangled in the buckle, is far more slip-resistant, and includes a new clipping point for keys.
