I bought a size small. I'm 5'4" about 140lbs, waist is a 27" and I'm a 34A bust. Athletic build with trail runner/skier thighs. I'm usually a solid size small in Patagonia. The small fit me well everywhere except the thighs. As these are just a shell, you need to wear something thicker underneath for cold days on the m... Read Moreountain. With just a pair of fleece-lined tights under these, it was hard to get the side zipped up over my thigh, and once on, a bit more snug than I would like, especially on days with a lot of deep knee flexion for bumps or powder. Skiing in those conditions, the zipper wouldn't stay up. Sizing up, however, would not have worked, as I already had to adjust the straps fairly short to keep them from falling off my shoulders, and the chest fit fine. I can make these work, but probably would choose something different next time. I did like the color, the fabric, and with the long side zip I could go to the bathroom not too awkwardly without taking off my coat. But if you have those power quads (I mean, these are ski bibs; skiers got the quads...) I'd check the fit before purchasing, if you can.
The product itself looked like a good quality product and I was sorry it didn't fit. I ordered up a size to fit my large thighs and while the legs fit, the top part was gigantic. I could have fit a basketball between my waist and the bib. I might have been able to make it work with a belt but for the price point I want it to fit without the ex... Read Moretra hassle of a fiddling with a belt when going to the bathroom with frozen hands. So not a good option for those with big legs/smaller waist.

Awesome Bibs!
Absolutely love this item! I do like my bibs more snug than most people so for me they run a little large (I only need a base layer under my bibs personally.) They are super comfy and amazing when snowboarding or relaxing between runs, and easy to take on and off.
Great bibs! Great fit! Pinyon Green is a rad color. I feel like I can actually move when snowboarding. I like that they are uninsulated, leaves you more in control with what temp you want to be, vents are awesome and all the pockets are appreciated. Pairs well with my Powdertown Shell. Havent had a SUPER wet snow day in them yet, but so far the Wat... Read Moreerproofing seems good. Thanks guys!
It's a sturdy, reliable, waterproof shell. Ideal for skiing and other snow sports. There's no insulation, and just enough room for a thick pair of leggings or long johns. I'm typically a size xs in Patagonia, but sizing up one for this was the move. I'm not certain how well it might hold up with any other hardcore winter activit... Read Morey, but as I only ski and sled, it will do the job fine. The side pockets are lower than what is usually placed on your typical jeans, but they're deep. And I love the chest pocket. It's perfect for my iPhone 13. I'm only bummed that the color I was looking out for was out of stock. It would be great if Patagonia made this ski bib in brighter colors that could stand out on a ski hill. 8/10
So I was really shocked by how thin this material was. I said outloud, "this can not keep me dry". Will I ever know? No, because they ran small and I have to send them back. I am typically and XL which gives me room to layer and this had no space for my hips at all with just my underwear. Also, the leg's shape was odd. Tight in the h... Read Moreip and huge at the calf, makes sense for large boots but seemed to try to have some shape which maybe why this XL was too small? IDK, Sad to have to return this.
PS why does Patagonia make so little amount of XL items? They sell out super quick and leaves us thick sporty girls no time to waste to buy gear.
