Die Jacke ist winddicht, der Regen perlt einfach nur ab und sie hält super warm, auch wenn man mal nicht so warm darunter gekleidet ist. Außerdem sitzt sie perfekt. Endlich mal eine Jacke wo die Ärmel nicht viel zu lang sind, sondern genau mit den Händen abschließen.

So this Spring I needed to replace my 10 year old shorter Patagonia 'ski' coat that I used on less frigid days, or when I need to have more freedom for my legs, I new exactly the coat I wanted ~ the shorter version of my Jackson Glacier Parka. I traded in my decades old Patagonia ski jacket and another Patagonia coat and got this coat half price plus the trade-in discount; an amazing deal! My new Jackson Glacier Jacket did not disappoint. I have already used it a lot this Spring and know I will use it a lot next winter, especially at our cabin doing winter activities.
My only thing with this coat is it can be a bit snug around the hips/bum as it is a slimmer fit and I am a slightly curvy woman. But it hasn't been riding up or really bugging me at all.
Bonus, this is a nice enough jacket to wear to work so I don't need multiple winter coats.
Haven't used this jacket that much as I bought it late in the season. Purchased at a good price. Good fit. Should be warm as it is down and has 700 fill power.
I bought a size medium at first and realized it was WAY too small. All of my other Patagonia pieces are medium, but this one runs really small. Its great for snow and when iitsbelow 40 and drizzling (you want to be warm and dry without having to just wear a bunch of layers under a rain coat).
I'm 5' 8" 125# and have trouble with jackets having a long enough torso and arms. This jacket works great - I'm not tugging. It's puffy, so not a svelte shape, but I'm okay with that. I've only worn it around town, but it does shed sprinkling rain!
I'm from Florida and the cold is not my favorite. I recently bought this jacket to replace an old one that didn't fit anymore. It came right in time for a trip to NYC. Keeps me warm in VT winter as I run cold. Quality of fabric so good. The only think I would change is the leave off the visor on the hood, but I tuck it away so that works for me.

Its super warm, cute, and repels water. Stays toasty with fresh snowfall and a light drizzle (not downpour). It runs SMALL. I usually wear a medium and I had to move up to an XL.
Chicago is well known as Windy City, winter is cold here but with this jacket you don't feel it at all. I used North Face jackets for everyday, I was afraid to change to a different brand thinking no one can compare to their coats but I was wrong. I'm very happy with this coat, I recommend 100%.

Not warm enough

I loved this jacket but
I loved this jacket but unfortunately I felt it was too snug under the arms. The fit was perfect in the hips .

Super warm and high quality
I love this jacket! Bought this for Colorado winters and it's held up great for the past 2 years. It is definitely more heavy-duty, so if you're looking for something more casual to wear around the city, I'd recommend the silent down jacket instead. Super warm
This jacket is exactly what I hoped it would be. It is very warm, very comfortable, looks great with a variety of outfits, and has proven to be my number one choice whenever I venture forth from my lair. Its a no-brainer.
I live in Chicago and this jacket keeps you WARM, not only from the cold temps but from the wind. I recently took this jacket on a winter trip to Iceland, and it was able to repel the arctic winds and freezing rain for hours. You will not regret buying this jacket!
I am stoked on my new jacket -- I bought it a tad bigger so there was extra space for warm sweaters, but it's so warm itself, I don't need to layer too much. It is great for casual walking, work, and am stoked to try it in the snow!
I really wanted to like this jacket. I live in the north east and needed a warm coat. I am very active and I didn't feel like this jacket would stand up. The zipper already felt like it was failing. The fit was small too. I always wear a small and this wouldn't allow for layering underneath. For the price tag I would have expected more.

So cozy and warm!
Absolutely in love with this jacket. The down is mega soft and mega warm. Not too bulky but exactly what I envisioned for this jacket. Have already used it under my waders and cant wait to use it on the slopes!

Great jacket for dog walking in the cold. I wanted a nice warm jacket I could just slip on quickly and not need a sweater. This fits the bill.

Love that this jacket is extremely warm but not bulky, and can easily fit a heavy sweater underneath. I have no tolerance for the cold, but have spent hours outside in temps in the low 30s with no problem. Fits perfectly in my usual Patagonia size (small).

Warmest jacket ever. No wind gets through it. Great style along with function. Though you don’t have petites ,the small fits perfectly , including the sleeve length.
I was hesitant to spend this much money on a jacket but it was so worth the money! It is very warm and comes with the most thoughtful little details. I am 5’ 2” and it hits right at my hip. Love this coat!
Patagonia makes amazing stuff and this is another prime example. It’s warm, well made, and will last for years and years. My only suggestion for improvement would be a helmet compatible hood and an extra inch or two on the collar to cover the face when it’s fully zipped.
