How do I send in an item for a return?

If you have decided to return an item, you will need to register your return in our Return Portal and follow the necessary steps. To start the process please visit our Returns page.

How can I exchange my Patagonia product?

To exchange an item from your recent order, simply send it back for a refund and place a new order on Unfortunately, we cannot offer direct exchanges.

Does the product(s) have to be returned in the original packaging?

You can send items back to us in the original packaging you received the order in, or in a secure package of your choice. However, we would recommend reusing the parcel your goods were delivered in to reduce waste.

I need to send back items from multiple orders to you. Can I ship everything back in one box?

To allow for smooth and efficient process at our warehouse, we kindly ask that you do not consolidate orders when sending us items back for a refund.

Please print one return label per order and attach it to the outside of each package with the relevant items and packing slip inside.

Once your order reaches our returns warehouse, our team will be able to quickly identify the items you have sent back, and ensure you are refunded as swiftly as possible.

Can I return a product in a store?

We kindly ask that online orders are returned via our online Return Portal. To start the process please visit our Returns page.

I already proceeded with a return for an order. Can I still return another item from this order later on?

To return additional items from your order, please contact our Customer Service Team and they will assist you.

I started a return process and received the shipping label but I changed my mind. Can I still cancel the return?

There is no need to cancel the return. Since no items will be returned, the returns process will not begin.

Where is my return label?

You no longer receive paperwork inside your Patagonia order. We are making this change to reduce the amount of paper we use. Once you have registered your return in the portal you will receive a shipping label with information regarding your return.

Once the shipping label is printed, use within 30 days.

How long will it take to process my return?

Once delivered to our facility, we do our best to process returned items within 14 business days. During sale and holiday periods, this time frame may increase. Please note that this does not include transit time to our facilities.

How can I track my return?

Unfortunately, you cannot track your return but keep hold of your shipping receipt so this information can be shared with our Customer Service Team if necessary.

How long do I have to return my order?

You are welcome to return anything that was purchased from Patagonia—both new and sale items. Although there is no set time limit, we ask that returns for fit or colour be made in a timely manner and that items be kept in new condition with tags attached.

If you have already downloaded the shipping label, please use within one month.

How much does it cost to return a product?

Our return process if free for our customers. However we do encourage you to shop responsibly and to consider the environmental impact when purchasing and returning items - the less unnecessary shipping, the better. Please follow the steps required here to start your return.

How do I know if my return parcel is routed through a local returns hub?

If you live in one of the following countries, your parcel will be routed through a local returns hub before being forwarded to our main returns warehouse: Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia and the United Kingdom. Please therefore note that the Delivered status on your return tracking number, does not indicate we have received your parcel and it must still be forwarded to our main returns warehouse.

How many days do I have to drop the parcel after I received the shipping label?

Drop your package off at your nearest postage point within a timely manner (max. 30 days).

I have used a voucher on an item I returned. Can I request a new voucher?

Our Promotional Voucher are available for individual use only.

Will I get a refund on my shipping costs if I return my product?

We will refund your shipping cost if the entire order is returned. Unfortunately if it is only a partial return we are unable to refund you. Please note this does not include Express shipping.
