Proteggiamo l'oceano perché possa proteggere noi

I have 25 plus days wearing new boots. Very comfortable, lightweight good support for the height of boot. The added outside protection around front of boot definitely helps from getting side foot pressure from rocky terrain, unlike most lightweight boots. Holding up great from wear and tear. Waded in boots without Grip Studs Traction kit, good trac... Read Moretion and stable. Added GST kit, definitely increased both traction and stability.
If you need to walk the gravel bar or hike into the backcountry to reach fish, this is the perfect boot. Even comes with extra laces! Buy the stud kit for slick-rock wading, don't rely on the rubber sole alone. I hiked two miles in these boots fresh out-of-the-box, and had zero issues with comfort.
I have worn these boots with the Yulex sock, Packable waders & Expedition zippered waders and I upsized one shoe size from my normal shoe size. The thing I am most impressed with is how comfortable and protective they are, the toe box and padded upper keep your foot happy in all types of river bottoms.

Read Morem and have worn these boots hiking into Slough Creek, wading the Madison, Gardner,Yellowstone, Henrys Fork, Missouri, Spring Creeks in Paradise Valley and numerous small streams and with only one exception have been super impressed with the performance of these boots!
The one exception was fishing the boulder strewn section of the Madison below three dollar bridge. Scary! To be fair, I have chosen to not wear the studs as an add on to these boots to give them the true test.
Overall, I have to say these are the best boots I have worn so far in my almost forty years in the fly fishing business!
There is no perfect one boot does it all out there on the market, example being I went back to the upper Madison wearing my felted Foot Tractors with grip studs and they performed flawlessly with one exception, I fell on my ass walking down a grassy slope. : o
Add a felt option to this boot and you will have an unbeatable duo for all conditions! Bravo, fish team!
I initially purchased the size 12 as that is what I wear in the Patagonia/Danner boots (both Foot Tractor and the Riversalt) but the size 12 Forra boots were too narrow so I purchased the Forra boots in 13 hoping that would "widen" them up enough to allow my use of them as I felt they would make a good summertime fishing boot for me. They... Read More remain too narrow for my feet and I don't necessarily have wide feet but apparently too wide for the Forra boots. I had really wanted these to work, enough to order the next size up, but it's not meant to be. I returned them both and wish those of you with narrow feet tight lines with what appears to be a great boot.
I have only had these out twice, both times in water in the low 50s, and they have performed great. The outsole traction instills confidence when hiking to the spot and in the water and the ankle support is solid. I haven't felt unstable yet with traversing rocks and tree branches etc.. After a couple miles hiking to/from the spot as well as i... Read Moren and around the water, my feet felt fine and I haven't had any pain or discomfort yet. They drying time seems to be a bit faster than usual as well. Great product!
I've owned numerous pairs of boots over the years, and these are easily the best. They're exceptionally light, have extremely firm soles, are exactly roomy enough, and they grip really well, even without the studs. I wear a size 8 shoe, and wear these with neoprene stocking feet, and the fit is excellent. I plan to wear Patagonia's y... Read Moreulex socks with these boots when I wear their packable waders. I've worn the boots in easy wading situations as well as on rocky bottoms and walking across difficult terrain. My one suggestion is that they offer aluminum studs along with the current titanium ones.
I have been using these boots for a season now (March to September in the UK) and I'm really happy with them! They are lighweight and very comfortable. I was planning to stud them for added grip, but haven't bothered and they have been great when wading on rocks etc.
I fish a lot and some other makes of boot have only lasted me a season, ... Read Morebut these seem pretty durable and are still looking good, so hopefully I'll get a few seasons out of them.
Size wise, I went up a size (usually a US10 but went to US11) to give additional room for neoprene booties on waders and they were perfect. Based on my experience with these so far the Forra wading boot will definitely be my go-to for the foreseeable future!
Excellent boots, light, very tough and with great traction on sand, sea weed, rock and bog. Very good drainage so dont feel like bricks on feet when you leave water. Soles still in perfect condition after two weeks nonstop use and abuse. Highly recommend.
Might be the best wading boot that I have ever bought and I own many. Lightweight, comfortable and quick to dry. Just completed a week in Iceland, great traction on the lava fields and the basalt sand river bottoms with no damage to the soles noticed. Good ankle support. Experienced less fatigue after 8-9 hours of walking and wading. Much preferred... Read More over the Patagonia/Danner wading boot bought last year. Well done!
So far - so good!! I was really excited to see this new boot come out as a lightweight option as my River Salt boots are much heavier - especially when wet! Only have about 5 days in them thus far - but very comfortable (like a nice pair of hiking boots), solid fit, and of course most importantly, the outsole rubber is pretty sticky! (Granted no ru... Read Morebber alone can avoid slipping on certain surfaces!!) . Interested to see how the upper materials hold up as this was a common issue in the earlier light weight boots (blow seams, abrasion wear), but only time will tell.
I have been using these boots for the last few fly fishing trips and so far they have worked great with the combination of light weight and excellent grip on the rocks while wading. I fish large streamers for trout and I will cover 6 - 9 miles each fishing trip, with the majority of my casting done while standing in the rivers or streams. The boots... Read More light weight enables me to easily cover these distances and quickly climb down a steep bank to enter the water and then climb up out of the water. The tread generates a solid grip in the river bottom and enables me to easily move through the flowing water without slipping while casting the streamers. It is still early in my use of these boots, so hopefully they continue to perform well with frequent use.
