Buttery soft but not durable

I bought these for my daughter and she has been wearing them to dance. She loves the fabric feel and the waistband. The third time she wore them, she ripped the knee in her jazz class. I appreciate the option for a soft children's legging from Patagonia, but they do seem to need reinforced knee fabric.

Nice leggings but didn't last long

(bought for my daughter, in middle school - 4'11'', slim) Fit was good, material is nice but might work better as a base layer - she took the knee out in a couple weeks and the mauve color is a bit boring (dusty rose). They didn't have the blue at the time I bought them, or we would have gone with that. [FYI for patagonia, the...
