Warm, comfortable, relaxed
I bought these overalls after considerable research and trying many pairs on. The price difference between these and some of the staples on the market like Carhartt or Dickies or Duluth trading is right on point, maybe 20 bucks more expensive. I bought them primarily for working in the woods, hiking trails, cutting and splitting wood, or hanging ar... Read Moreound a bonfire. So far I can say these are pretty warm when worn with even just a light layer like jeans or joggers underneath. I haven't had a chance to use them in extreme cold yet, but they have met the needs down into the low 20s and high teens. As several other reviews highlight, I would say the legs run a little long. I am 5'10 and they fit fine over work boots and winter boots. It feels like the legs could be a little shorter and the mid section a little longer. That said, once footwear is on they're fine. I put on a few extra pounds and gotten a little chubby since COVID so I was unsure if medium would fit the bill. At 190 lb I can tell you the medium fits fine even with a thick base layer underneath. Perhaps just a little snug at the middle seam right at your midsection. I have found that it actually stretches out okay, and there are two buttons that could be used to loosen if needed. Frankly, I love these things, they are super comfortable, relaxed fabric feels totally broken in. They have additional abrasion resistant fabric in all the right places. If you're looking at all the regular insulated work overalls out there, these are worth looking into.
Heavy Duty Winter Time Workwear
I read other reviews and went with the Medium-Short as suggested, and so glad I did. At 5'11" these still cover the tops of my winter boots but don't drag on the ground. These are clearly very well made bibs and have the perfect amount of insulation, feel broken-in while brand new, and I love the additional reinforcement on the lower... Read More legs and seat. The chest pockets are useful without being over the top, the zip pocket perfectly fits a modern sized phone vertically or horizontally. I have been doing farm chores in mine with a light layer underneath and a wool jacket over...slinging feed, stacking firewood, working on machines all is very comfortable and convenient. The waterproofing on the lower legs is especially nice when you're filling water tanks or pick up some muck in stalls you just wipe it or spray it right off. My only gripe is this: the boot cut bottoms are comically oversized...like sleeve of wizard. I'm sure the argument is to be able to slide on over boots but they're so large that they let drafts up the leg on a quad or snow machine, couldn't you add some sort of adjustment strap like Fjallraven Vidda trousers have? Otherwise, I'm fairly confident this may be the last pair of winter bibs I buy...they're practically bombproof. Well done.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THIS FOR WOMEN
This is perfect In every way except you only do Mens sizes! I will have to buy Mens and have try to get it altered but please make womens size and we need short / petite options?? For those of us under 5ft 2 and under. Im not sure Mens size will be suitable for a womans hips but I guess I will have to try
Everything I hoped for!
The first pair I got were a medium and they were way to big. The smalls fit perfect even over a pair of pants. I love everything about them. Hey Mason, thank you for the feedback. We're so sorry to hear the buckles broke on your new overalls; sounds like you have a warranty issue on your hands. Pros: durability/ soft / no breaking in required/warm/ good pockets / strong zippers Cons: I ordered a short size and they are still long on me ( Im 5 ft 7 in ) - if there was more play with the suspenders I would think I could correct the length issue but they are as long as other brands / also the length of the torso part is very long which mea... Im a union dredge boater and these are the best damn insulated bibs Ive ever worn. Most other brands insulated bibs wont last more than one or two winter seasons, including Carhartt but I see no end in sight for mine. Im leaving these a 5 star review because theyre just so much better than everything else Ive wore but thats not to say theyre completely without flaw. Im about 185lbs and 510, I bought mine in a size L-Short and theyre still just slightly longer than I feel they should be. Even over my bulky Muck boots the ends will drag just behind my heels sometimes if I dont have the suspenders tightened all the way up, causing them to fray at the bottom. Which brings me to the next issue, the adjustable suspenders will slip a bit throughout my 12hr shifts, usually an inch or so. I think if the triglide buckles were tighter or the elastic straps were thicker it would solve these issues for me. However, even with the short inseam they're just barely short enough for me which makes me imagine they wouldnt be a good pair of bibs for anyone 58 and under. I thought about having them hemmed by a tailor but thats probably not realistic with the location of the leg zippers. The damage isnt bad though, so my intentions at this time are to just sew a reinforced layer around the back of the foot holes at the end of the season. At the end of the day if youre 510 or taller Im not so sure you can buy a better pair of insulated work bibs. Theyre worth every cent and I regularly recommend them to everyone at work.

The overalls have been really great working in the cold in New England. Super warm, very durable material, pockets and access well thought out. Most bibs the pockets are afterthoughts or design features, not these. They are built to preform with you, not against you. Deep and wide plenty of room for phones or tools while working. Very happy with my overall. I wasnt expecting it to be warm but its warm. Definitely recommend getting it if you work outside or do a lot of work outside during winter time or are just an outside person during winter. I will be getting another one so that when one is wet or dirty I have the other one ready to go.
Warm, comfortable and roomy enough to layer up
I am very pleased with my purchase. I wish the regular overalls would incorporate some design elements from the insulated overalls. I've recommended them to the farmer friend who turned me on to Patagonia's double knee work pants in the first place.
Best Multi-Use Overalls Ever
These were ordered as a gift for myself as my older Carhartt pair was always too short in the legs, Im 64 and 200lbs, and never the most comfortable. Read Morealso lightweight and water-resistant enough that Ive yet to be bogged down even with all the precipitation we get. The legs are quite wide and wearing a thin pair of pants underneath isnt an issue. The only possible issue Ive noticed is that the overall strap design doesnt tend to stay up and will creep down, though that is me doing my best to find any issues whatsoever. Overall Im incredibly happy with the purchase and they seem a value for the quality that is apparent the moment you open them up. Well made, well fitted, and well used. Cheers!

Nice bibs, weak QC
Out of the bag left side suspender was missing the crimp at the bottom of the clasp. I used a piece of tip-up line to keep the clasp from coming off the button. Read Moreke into two pieces. I would think the quality control process should have picked up on the missing hardware. Maybe the missing crimp was just a fluke thing and the hardware broke because of me, who knows. The elastic in the suspenders is already stretched out and gives me the feeling they arent going to last too long for me without the suspenders looking like the waistband from a 15 year old pair of underwear. The nylon on the knees doesnt really come up high enough to cover my knees until I kneel down and then the seam is right over my knee cap. Thats ok out fishing or working in the snow but when you start kneeling on concrete or other hard surfaces it doesnt feel great. On the positive side the nylon on these bibs makes them great around ice and snow. You can work outside all day in the snow and not have ice hanging all over your bibs. Sawdust also brushes right off the nylon which is a huge plus. Insulation is great. Pocket placement and layout is awesome. Hand warmer pocket is a great idea. Leg zips are the right height and seem to work good even in the cold. Leg opening is just the right size to fit over a range of boots without being too big. Overall the bibs arent bad aside from the suspenders and the nylon double knee not coming up high enough for my liking. Personally Id like it if the bottom snap on the leg was a button so you could get it apart even when you get water on you that freezes that snap solid.
