Kern Ducote is a photographer based in Santa Barbara. He grew up on the watersheds of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, on a steady diet of blue crabs and community (the two have more in common than you’d think). After a few steady years of travel and learning about the necessities of life via long walks on long trails, Kern has settled into a steady gig on Patagonia’s Worn Wear tours.
