I received one of these shirts as a gift and I wore it frequently on my 20-day trek of the Colorado Trail... it is great for wicking sweat and keeping odor out (a must for thru-hikes). I loved it so much I had to get a second shirt... the only thing I am not a fan of is how Patagonia is marketing everything as capilene. Maybe they could have a temp... versatile shirt with a great fit
This shirt has a really flattering fit, (I'm 5'6", 145 lbs., 32DD.) I wear it hiking, around the house, and to work and it keeps me cool when I'm on feet all day. A few years back I bought the same shirt in a different color and the material pilled badly after just a few washes. But it fit so well and I loved how well it kept me... Very comfortable, breathable and light weight
I love this T-shirt. Very comfortable, breathable and light weight. I have worn and washed it several times on delicate and hung to dry. No problem. I am looking forward to wearing this shirt for years to come. As far as size, I am usually between a small and a medium. I got the small and it was perfect.
Great All Around shirt
I saw this shirt in a review about clothes to take to walk the Camino de Santiago. I bought it at the last minute and have worn it every day for the last 10 days. It washes up quickly and drys over night to wear the next day. I bought the medium and it fits perfectly. Im 5 ft 8in and about 158 lbs.
New and improved (so far!)
I bought this in the hemlock green as a replacement for a green Patagonia tee I had for many years and loved - the armpit area of the old one began to show staining from my deodorant :(. Hi Susan, thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and we are very sorry to hear about the issues with the sizing. Go to Shirt
This is my go-to shirt in warm weather. Travels well. Wicks moisture. Thin fabric but not transparent. Colors are a bit muted but pairs well with other muted colors, khakis and jeans. Flattering silhouette, not boxy. The neckline is just right for me, not too high like a crew neck but not too low to be revealing.
Have an older style version of this shirt and love it. This one is not as good. Love the fabric but hate the scoop neck. It just comes down too low to be a functional running shirt. My sports bra comes up higher and sticks out, which just looks funny. And I do not really want to worry about sun blocking extra skin while out for a long run.

Great anywhere shirt
I wear this shirt to work and for running errands and just living everyday life. Fits great, launders well and is just a great all around shirt. I also imagine my next hiking trip or vacation while wearing it which helps bring a smile on stressful days. Love and recommend it!
My favorite shirt!!
I absolutely adore this shirt. It fits loosely and drapes nicely. I sweat a lot and it dries out pretty quickly. After I got one, I returned and ordered it in more colors. Its light weight and great for hiking, but it also looks nice enough to wear out and about.

Material is very thin
I have a previous shirt in this style and it is my "go to" shirt. This version as well as the long sleeve are both very thin. You can see through the material even double layered. It makes you feel you need to wear a tank underneath which rather defeats the purpose of a tee-shirt.
Yellow color is see-through
I like the fit and feel of this shirt a lot! However, the yellow color is definitely very see-through, and I can't wear it to work like I wanted. I would try other colors, but I wouldn't recommend the yellow.

Not quite right
I wanted to try this because I have the lighter weight capilene. This one was bigger all around and the cut of the neck was too wide. The only color left was the blue with black stripes, and the color was too dull - I prefer vibrant.

Thanks for your feedback, Janet! We've made so many iterations of Capilene fabric, it's tough to say which one you've had in the past. Love these shirts
Beautiful, light, and perfect for the heat. I do a lot of activities in the heat of Wyoming summer and in the Tropics in the winter - rowing, hiking, wade fishing.. I love capilene because it doesn't show sweat, and wicks nicely. Love the scoop neck. It fits beautifully and the color selection is great!

Great feel and fit
I'm 5'5", 115 lbs and ordered the small. The fit is slimming, but definitely a slightly over sized t-shirt fit. The length is nice and can be tucked in to shorts while mountain biking, or also looks great un-tucked over yoga pants. The material is soft and flowy and seems to hold up great so far against a few washes.
I bought a couple of these for the summer. They're really soft and the fit is nice-not at all boxy and I love the dropped hem. Armpit gussets are a nice touch and add to how comfortable these shirts are. They dry quickly, breathe well and don't show sweat easily! Glad I bought two!
