Protégeons l'océan pour qu'il puisse nous protéger
Notre avenir dépend de l'océan. Les mers de notre planète nous relient par la nourriture, les traditions et le sport. These pants are so fun. I was a little worried about the fit but think the fabric will soften with time, and after a day of wear they were nicely stretched around my joints. The dark purple color is amazing and so much fun, but not too wild to keep these from being good everyday pants.
Want to love
I want to love these cords so badly! I previously bought a pair from the worn wear site, and THOSE I LOVE, those I want more of. Heres why. The fit is SO much better. When Patagonia brings back the original fit, Ill buy those, but in the meantime, Ill keep surfing worn wear for that classic design that I do love!

Love these cords! Very soft and comfortable. I am between sizes so I went for the larger size based on other reviews and am happy I did, I'm not a fan of sausage stuffing my body into clothes haha. A great everyday pant and I can even get away with wearing them to work. The mid/higher rise works well for me.
ran small and a tight cut
i have a pair of cords size 28 from five years ago and the cut was much more relaxed. the cut of these cords are very tight. narrow in hips, thighs and calf. they fit like "skinny jeans" but didn't have any stretch so they just feel tight even though they fit. the corduroy is nice materials and i loved the nest brown color.
Great material, and fit, but higher waistline is a no-go
I have 3 pairs of these from a few years ago and they all fit perfectly and sit on my hips, but do not fall down. Wish the fit were better
I wanted to love these, but the fit is a little off so they aren't super flattering. Too loose in the thighs, but tight in the calves for me (athletic body type, 5ft 7 in, 135 lbs). Maybe I needed to size down, or maybe they'll fit better after washing.

I loved these pants and wore them frequently for a few weeks. Until I went to put them on and noticed they had a big hole on the butt. Taking them in to the store to see what can be done but disappointed in the quality.

Too Skinny Jean-ish

Legs too short
I am tall and thin- the legs taper too fast/ and or are simply too short to fit properly on my legs. I compared this pair to the old pair I own. The old cut has longer legs that don't taper as much. The old pair is fabulous, the new pair cant be worn at all.

These have been my favorite pants for years. I have them in 3 different colors, and have always ordered size 28, which fit perfectly. I last ordered them in 2019 or 2020. Nice fit and feel but..
I prefer deeper pockets. The front ones I can barely fit my hand two knuckles in. Also the legs taper to a tighter fit than I like - makes putting on ankle length and longer socks a bit challenging. Its a nice pair of pants but I probably wont purchase again for the above reasons.
Look Good Feel Good
I bought these pants for work because I needed pants that would look good with a blazer. They definitely do! And they look good with a sweater and a T-shirt and a tank. I bought these in a 29 because I have slim legs based on other reviews, but I still felt it was a little too tight at the top of the VERY high waist. I exchanged for the 30s. Tried and true
I have purchased several pairs of the corduroy jeans from Patagonia. I really like the comfort of corduroy, and the fit is usually great. Not baggy. But, this pair the lower part of the legs are more tight than my other pants. I'd prefer a tad more room, so they don't ride up every time you are seated.
High-waist so unflattering
I loved the previous version, like many other people who wrote reviews. The mid-waist was perfect, and so were the pockets and the feel over time. Skinny Jeans - but Cords
These are definitely good quality fashion corduroy, which is what I was looking for. I (5'8", 135-140lbs, cis-f) bought both a size 28 and 29. I usually wear a size 6 (some brands a 4), which maps to the size 28, but so many reviews said these run small so I figured I should get both. When I first put them on the size 28 seemed too tight/... Read Moresmall and I thought the size 29 fit better. But as I wore the size 29 for a day or two, they stretched out a ton and felt a little too big on me - like most size 8's feel. I gave the size 28 another try, feeling super uncomfortable for the first day, but then after a day straight of wearing them they fit like any other skinny jean/pant (fitted but comfy). I think corduroy is particularly stiff, so you have to break them in a bit. A very long winded way to say that these run true to size - but you need to give them a few hours for the corduroy material to break in. Otherwise they're super comfortable and look great! I think now I'm going to return the size 29 as they're a little too loose looking in the knees and behind. But if you're actually looking for more outdoors workwear, then a size up might work better for you, for even more maneuverability.

First of all like all my many Patagonia products the workmanship is fabulous . The only problem I have with the very comfortable cords is that they are quite bulky in the butt and upper leg. Since a lot of your customers are athletic it might be a good idea to have a regular and slim fit.
