Really great coat definitely worth the money. Its light enough that you can move but still very warm. Absolutely love it. I am very happy with this purchase
I bought both the XXL and XL, I'm 191cm and 130kg, the jacket fits well when I do not raise my arms or sit in a driving position, but if I do, its quite tight in the armpits/shoulder. The XXL is super large and baggy, definitely the wrong size, but fitis better in the arm pits. The XL is the correct size and cut for my body, but much tighter i... Read Moren the pits. I took the XL as it was the correct over all body shape and I don't do much driving, but rather walking around in cold raining winters... and in that aspect I feel the jacket is perfect.

I highly recommend this jacket to those who have trouble finding a versatile jacket! First I ordered a large one but it was quite big for my size (6,2 and 200) so I exchanged it for a medium one. it's super warm and you only need to wear a shirt for cold weather around 32 °F. Medium fits too tight in the armpits, too tight in the arms and sleeve length is a little short. I had to return it. Beautiful coat just so tight in the arms. Great Coat
I love it. Looks nice similar to a pea coat with the warmth of an actual coat. Wish I bought it sooner. Snow can get in to the pockets but perfect besides that
This is Patagonia's take on the winter coats from years ago. A heavy waterproof shell with a layer of insulation underneath traps body heat and keeps me warm.

The fit is medium which allows for adding layers as needed. I have a medium build and the jacket fit well in the shoulders and chest.
When snow shoeing the heavy shell wasn't ripped or abraded from tree branches and shrubs. The cut of the jacket did not feel restrictive with poles and a pack. Accessing my pants pockets was difficult because of the longer length of the jacket. I was able to move items to the zippered pockets on the jacket.
The only difficulty I had was fitting a full-length winter glove around or under the cuffs.
I was looking for a parka which is warm for my slim build. This parka (size M for my 1.96m en 75kg) fits well, it's spacious in the waist area but is warm. The fit was the most important part for my parents and me. I am very small for my age but like styles for teenagers. This is perfect for me in cold Minnesota winters!
Lots to like for the price point. I put kinda large, but I'm still happy with the size I got. Second reason is website says shell has DWR, but doesn't specify if it's PFC-free or not. That's really important to me and I wish it was more clear.

Bin sehr zufrieden. Etwas grösseren schnitt hat die Jacke. Lieber eine größe kleiner bestellen. Sehr warm, sieht einfach cool aus, die Qualität entspricht den Preis.
I'm writing a review because I was on the fence about this parka, as I love and trust Patagonia for quality but needed something waterproof and very warm. I finally bought it a couple weeks ago and the good news is that it's really warm. For cold & humid climate, this is perhaps even better than down to stay warm. At around 0 or below, I'm very comfortable wearing the parka and perhaps a light jumper below it. I haven't tested how well it will deal with the rain but it looks completly waterproof. Besides that, all the rest is top notch: comfort, sizing, pockets are super large and keep my hands warm. I agree with some other reviewers that the collar, when zipped all the way, can be a bit uncomfortable if you don't have the hood on. It took me a couple days to get used to it but I don't even notice it now. If you're tempted, I can confidently recommend this jacket.
I'm very happy this parka. It is really warm, so it's ideal for lower temperatures (below 2-3 degrees Celsius), looks and feels fantastic and has plenty of space in the pockets, which are also very warm.
So pleased. This transformer of a coat is comfortable, warm, dry and looks great in all combinations. Got me through 4 days away, mainly outside in zero degree temps, rain and snow and made me realise that I’ve never had a ‘good’ coat. There’s nothing to not like.
Was looking for an all around camping, hiking, work and casual jacket. This didnt quite make the cut, although its quite the rugged jacket. H2no material is great. I bought it to replace another long parka but didn't want it to be down insulated. Also, I wanted the new one to be navy blue: tired to wear black overcoat all the time. Besides, combined with beige chinos and a classic Oxford shirt is a "perfect office outfit".

The main downsides of this nice garment are definitely the tight collar and the difficulty to zip it all the way without having to put the hood on. Also, I think it's a tad ample in the waist zone and narrow by the chest and shoulders. I'd say, its shape is like a bell.
Being that said, the pros exceed the cons, so I'd definitely recommend this parka for high Winter season. I'm going to Torres del Paine and will test it in Puerto Natales, while strolling, not during the hikings.

I was looking for a new winter coat that would work for NYC winters. The coat fits great for a stockier guy and the sleeves are not too long. I know this cost isnt made specifically for skiing but Id like to test that out next season.
Bought it at the Patagonia outlet. Great price. The only negative thing about it is when zipped up all the way, it is too tight around the neck. Not enough flexibility to pull the hood off your head with out unzipping
I''m 190cm and bought an L. I could have gone for a M but I prefer to have a slightly looser parka. It's a very thick and warm parka, build to last, very good quality made with sturdy materials. Pleased, would definitely recommend!
At first I wasn't sure, a non-removeable hood, and was a little stiff. But the longer I wear it the more I love it. What's not to like it's waterproof + I no longer feel the cold. It's also very stylish especially when using the zipper.
The parka is great but it does run a bit large and with many shortages going I dislike having to order/return. Returned. Quality seem like it will withstand a lot. The fit is not as slim as it looks on pictures.
Such a good winter coat and super warm and really stylish. The hand pockets are especially great. I wear a Large in the Nano Puff Jacket/rain jacket, and this seems to run slightly larger than those, but overall, great coat.
