This lightweight skirt converts to a halter dress, has an asymmetrical hem that falls below the knee and is made of 55% organic cotton/45% Tencel® lyocell.

A skirt that turns into a dress belongs in every girl’s first aid kit. The versatile, travel-friendly Kamala is made from a lightweight 55% organic cotton/45% Tencel® lyocell jersey fabric with a smooth, breeze-catching drape that rests easy over leggings, tights or suntanned skin. The wide, cinched, shirred waistband adjusts with ties on one side, and the asymmetrical A-line falls below the knee. You can also wear it as a dress layered under cardigans and hoodies. The doubled waistband converts to a bandeau-style bodice with ties that secure behind the neck, and the asymmetrical hem of the dress falls to the knee in front, and below in back. Length (size M) is 30" waist to hem.
  • Organic cotton/Tencel® lyocell with a soft hand and smooth drape
  • Wide cinched waistband fits snugly and is adjustable on right side with ties
  • Asymmetrical skirt falls below the knee
  • When converted to a bandeau-style dress, the doubled waistband becomes the bodice and ties secure behind the neck
  • Dress hem falls at the knee in the front, below the knee in the back
  • 4.8-oz 55% organic cotton/45% Tencel® lyocell
  • 201 g (7.1 oz)
  • Made in Vietnam.

Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Wrinkle Resistant

TENCEL® is a branded lyocell fiber that comes from the pulp of eucalyptus trees. The trees are grown on sustainably run farms certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).cellulose fibers such as viscose rayon.
