Lightweight and packable, the new Hybrid Fleece Jacket pairs two weights of snow-shedding fleece for warmth, breathability and stretch where you need it most. Slightly longer in length and with a fit just relaxed enough, it’s the perfect low bulk, snow-specific midlayer.

You can obsess over the mechanics of your descent or you can simply make it up as you go along. Either way, you’ll need to stay fluid if you hope to pull it off. For carving freshies or hopping pillows, you need mid-layer warmth that insulates when you’re chilled, breathes when you’re postholing and stretches when you drop in. Our Hybrid Fleece Jacket combines two weights of snow-shedding fleece—durable Polartec® Thermal Pro® and supple Polartec® Power Stretch®—to create the perfect mix of insulation and motion-friendly utility for your decent. The snow-riding fit is slightly longer and just a touch relaxed, with raglan sleeve construction for shoulder mobility and pack comfort. A brushed collar feels soft and warm against skin, and three pockets (one chest, two handwarmer) keep your beer money separated from your energy bar. With a feminine, countered silhouette.

Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR™ clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.
